I doubt it. Monarchs don't only cost the public on the day they die, they do it every single other day too. The total annual cost of the British monarchy is estimated at $431 million dollars and that is just for the people and doesn't even include things like the cost of renovating Buckingham Palace and other monarchial properties which costs hundreds of millions more. https://www.aljazeera.com/economy/2023/ ... omplicated
