So is there a housing crisis or not?
In these rural areas, there isn't zoning - you can build basically any building you want.
So if lack of zoning is so great, why are people leaving these areas for cities with strict zoning?

That wasn't hyperbole. It was a flat out lie.nett wrote: ↑Thu Sep 01, 2022 11:05 pmTough to have a constructive conversation when you call obvious hyperbole a lie. Though I suspect you're not here for a constructive conversation about this topic.

OK, I’ll rewrite it more literally:ken_sylvania wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 8:04 amThat wasn't hyperbole. It was a flat out lie.
Certain MN posters keep asserting that rural areas are depopulating and the people leaving them want to move to the big metro areas / cities.
Is that better?

As an aside, I have noticed plain Anabaptists don’t use hyperbole or sarcasm much. Where I come from both are common. It’s a common misunderstanding.
Calling it an outright lie is not helpful tho.

Ken, you're the one who lied. I pointed out that you called hyperbole a lie, and you doubled down. I find that directly dishonest.ken_sylvania wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 8:08 amMuch better. Thank you.
