Our local high school has now mandated litter boxes to make the "furries" feel more included.

I strongly agree this is much more than playing dress up, no matter who and how many people want to act like this is normal.

I believe the next big push in society's moral breakdown will be people being intimate with animals, dating, getting married, etc.

This is real and far different from reenactments... A hobby is reenactment, believing you are a cat or half cat is completely different from a hobby. Mental health is deteriorating quickly in our country and I find little difference between the person who believes they time traveled to kill Hitler and someone who believes they are a cat or a gender different then they were born.

Ken,
generally, i tend to agree w you.
but in this case, i think that you are wrong.

the furries are more than re enactments and role playing.

Do you have any local reporting of this? You are almost certainly being hoaxed and repeating false nonsense.

For example:

Claim about litter boxes in New York school is unfounded: https://apnews.com/article/fact-checking-777442211945

If you’ve heard that a Horry County school is putting out litter boxes in public school bathrooms for students identifying as cats, it’s simply not true. This time, the rumor is directed at Aynor High School with almost 900 students. Michael McCracken, the principal, told The Sun News that he was aware of the rumors that have circulated in the past. https://www.myrtlebeachonline.com/news/ ... 12386.html

Republican retracts false claim schools placing litter boxes for ‘furry’ students Nebraska’s Bruce Bostelman apologises for repeating rumor that schools accommodating children who self-identify as cats https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/202 ... m-debunked

School litter box fever will not die in Iowa https://www.thegazette.com/staff-column ... e-in-iowa/

Fake post about litter boxes at KHS goes viral Kokomo School Corporation officials spent this week responding to allegations it was installing litter boxes at the high school, following a satirical post on Facebook. The site called The Kokomo Press posted Tuesday morning a screenshot of a fake email informing Kokomo High School staff about a new policy for students who identify as part animal, with the subject line “OtherKin Policy.” https://www.kokomotribune.com/news/scho ... e684c.html

My Seattle daughter just about went ballistic when I asked about furries. Apparently different than dress up for reenactment or ComicCon. There are some really sick things going on there. It may or may not be connected with this litter box stuff, which is likely bogus.

i take you at your word. no need to source anything if you don’t care to. this forum is not anyone’s high school classroom or court of law. of course, your word, as with all of us, is not the Word of God, there should be no confusion. (you aren’t suggesting it is, from what you’ve posted.)

you are in Canada? this forum has significant representation, Canada is not a mirror image of the U.S., and, in the U.S., we don’t get a lot of news from our close neighbors, Canada, Mexico, or other countries. (another failure of news reporting.) not a new failure.

Seattle is a world epicenter for carnal sin, i grieve my family is in that area.
My mother used to warn, “Don’t think you can walk through the mud without getting your boots dirty.” :-|
It is not a place for children, teens.

There are good people there. Everyday an assault on the senses. There are so many things to love about it.
Blinders are required to deny depravity.

As young adults, we enjoyed livng on the west coast in the early 70’s, however, even then we could see, it wasn’t a place for conventional families, children. At least not without money, and perhaps defined communities for support. Time has not improved the situation. Seattle area was probably still a decent place, before So Cal relocated (locals describe this phenom).

In those years, we traveled a little into Mexico, enough to see shocking poverty, communities of shanties, people living in cardboard boxes. Not foreseeing this would be replicated in U.S. cities! People squatting in tents on some of the most expensive real estate in the world! Instead of Mexco’s population being lifted up, the U.S. has fallen down. i don’t recall this was anyone’s plan.

Having experienced this, now reading about so many fleeing CA, Portland, Seattle, i dread the curse they may bring with them.

(i’d like to see) states employ “naturalization” requirements, similar to new U.S. citizens. it might help states retain their autonomies, rather than being blindly over run with unwanted, unexpected policies, esp by voting people who are ignorant and oblivious.

I really hope you are right and I am being hoaxed. Although I don't think the family from our church who cited this reason for pulling their son from said school, would knowingly or willingly repeat false information.

I don't have enough interest in discussing foolishness to dig any deeper.
I'm not going to let people with unnatural affections influence how I spend my time on earth. And I'll try not to let a forum of anonymous friends influence how much time I spend discussing things that won't benefit any of us :)

Last year there was a lot of talk here in the community about how a specific local, rural, public school was accommodating these issues with litter boxes and whatnot. None of it turned out to be true.
As usual, people are quick to pass along rumors, and then when it turns out to be false, no one passes that new information along. This is why so many people believe so much ridiculousness. Thanks to how these wild rumors work, they do hear about (and pass along) some wild story, but then they never hear about (nor pass along) the fact that it was completely bogus.

The litter box hoax should not distract from the fact that liberals like Ken literally refuse to acknowledge that furries exist. Refusing to accept reality just makes you crazy, it doesn't change reality. This is, ironically, the same problem that furries have.

they can pretty much remain hoaxes until-unless they gain legal protections, access to the public treasury.
at this point, they run like wildfire throughout the DOE, so far no evidence they can be removed.

in the past, i read that Planned Parenthood was about to go defunct and disappear due to lack of interest/use.
then they somehow got gov funding. that was before gov funding was the norm, the goal, the golden ring.

imagine. left in the private sector, PP might have just died a natural death.

from memory. i’m not googling. i doubt google would be honest about it anyway.

next year ..
teachers may share that, yes, their schools provide litter boxes, and here are the good reasons why. it doesn’t take long. no more.
those who disagree are obviously small-minded bigots, racists, etc., and deserve to be silenced.

there’s an ungodly formula at play. i’m sorry to say.
