Plane crash?

Things that are not part of politics happening presently and how we approach or address it as Anabaptists.

I'm told the plane had three Mennonite businessmen on board, yet its all hush-hush, even several days after the crash. I understand they are native to the area.

No idea. I heard about it Saturday evening and then it was radio silence. Different co-workers heard names but that's it.

Given the model of plane, this is the same plane whose owners liked to give rides to various Lebanon Co. businessmen to various places.

I am not sure that the information about the crash is hush-hush, but that the FAA isn't releasing much information until a thorough investigation is done. The last I heard, (last weekend) the FAA hasn't released the bodies. The plane was flown by Rodney Martin, a father of six and a part owner of Martin Appliance and Water Treatment company. The other two young men were single and somewhere I saw their names, but couldn't find the names presently. Rod Martin was in contact with the air traffic controllers, and stated he was encountering some storms and was following their advice. It is thought, (but no one knows for sure) that the plane was struck by lightening and lost a wing.

That's the name I heard bounced around.

I would have thought you would be in favor of people not gossiping about everything they think they know (or don't know) about the situation. :D

In any event it is rather tragic just like a car crash. Car crashes have claimed quite a few Mennonite lives in the last few months - and many non-Mennonite lives too.

Typically I wouldn't care. This situation perked my interest as they would have landed two miles from my house.
