What’s being said is that members of this open, diverse forum have no right, no business: discussing.

Not at all. Of course they have the right.

Some of us are trying to learn to take a Kingdom of God perspective that is not loyal to any of the political factions, where our heroes and enemies are not chosen by the secular world around us, where the issues that concern us most and the talking points we use to discuss them do not directly reflect what we see in worldly media. On either side of the political divide.

That's a less diverse perspective than the forum as a whole. I hope there is room for that perspective too.

If we decided to crack down on trolling, it would be on an equal opportunity basis. There's enough opportunity for heated discussion in the thread topic without wandering off into personal attacks.
