Today ...

A place to relate, share, care for, and support one another. A place to share about our daily activities and events around the home.

Today I pruned around our house. I started with the concord grapes, then the raspberries and blackberries. Then I went to the trees: nectarines, peaches, plums, and a serviceberry. I need to look up how to handle the mulberry, hazelnut, and lilac trees.

Very sad and hard to watch. My son died in a fiery car crash a couple years ago; the car looked much worse than your truck. My son was moving and had most of his worldly possessions with him and they burned up together.

My deepest sympathies. I am blessed to come out of it unharmed. Sorry if I brought on sad memories for you.

I am sorry this happened to your son. I am sure it is a grief you will carry for the rest of your life.

It was a beautiful warm day yesterday and I did the same with our concord grape vines. The last few years they haven't been producing like I wished. I may ask my dairy farmer neighbor for some cow manure as they say that works as a good fertilizer.

Today, we are making our first trip int he move to Texas. Will be offline for a few days, except using my phone as an access point. Stopping off in Shreveport and spending the night, then Texas bound. We sign and take possession of the new house Thursday. I will have to go back to Indiana in a few weeks and load up all our furniture.

Try hard not to offend. Try harder not to be offended.
I think I am funnier than I really am.
