jcm unfortunately passed away some time ago. I last saw his widow a few years ago at a youth rally to distribute tracts/sing on the street. She attended with her children and helped take care of the crowd of young people. I was impressed with her Christian spirit whilst going through a very difficult time.

Yes, it is 100% about the LGBT+ lobby gaining access to children. Homosexuals can't have children, so to make more homosexuals, they need to get access to other people's children in order to abuse them. (Most homosexuals are that way because another homosexual abused them as a child.)

Janet was no different; Lisa's daughter reported that Janet would do strange things like try to bathe with her naked and otherwise make her very uncomfortable. The child cried when having to go to these visits and started wetting the bed, which I have been trained to learn is a very common sign of a history of sexual abuse. Lisa did the right thing to keep her daughter safe.

Homosexual child abusers like Janet are protected and supported by our current legal system. Pray that none ever takes an interest in one of your children. You will have an uphill battle to keep them safe.

This case is about nothing more than the fact that it involved the child of a same-sex union. And the fact that Lisa Miller came to regret that fact and used the resources of her church to violate the custody agreement.

This case isn't about which parent was the biological parent. There are millions of non-biological parents with custody in the US. There are 1.5 million adopted children in the US alone. So millions of non-biological parents have custody of children in the US. That is exceedingly common and common even among the members of this forum.

This case isn't about civil unions vs. marriage. There are hundreds of thousands of common law marriages and civil unions in the US that generate children and then have to work out custody agreements when they dissolve. And marriage isn't a necessary criteria for custody fights anyway. Many unmarried couples have custody fights and custody agreements and they sometimes also involve non-biological children. Again, that is utterly common and mundane.

This case isn't about child abuse. There was no child abuse claimed or entered into evidence by Lisa Miller's defense. In this entire case she didn't make any arguments or claims about child abuse at all.

The only thing it is about is same-sex marriage. And the fact that Lisa Miller and her church wanted to unwind the same-sex marriage that she had voluntarily entered into. But divorce is almost ALWAYS messy and infinitely more so when children are involved. And messier still when the courts get involved to resolve disputes.

Raising children in a same sex “marriage” is de facto child abuse. So is forcing a child to have “two mommies”, particularly when the birth mother wants nothing to do with the fake “mom”.

Ken, stop excusing gross sin, child abuser, and sexual immorality. You will not escape the day of judgment until you repent of your blatant promotion and acceptance of homosexuality.

I'm not promoting anything. I'm just pointing out the actual facts of the case. You are the one resorting to character assassination and hysteria.

There are no “facts” that make any of this okay. And a lot of this had a great deal of judicial leeway. Gay marriage was forced on the whole country including states like mine that banned it. Now we have to have child abuse forced on us as well.

What is scary is ardent defenders of this system like yourself.

The "system" you are referring to is the Constitution. We don't live in a theocracy, much as you might wish it so.

Ken:

You can repeat this everyday, all day long. Think as you will. It doesn’t make it true.

Because of the loose/sloppy interpretation of the words, “parent,” and “mother,” more chaos will follow, not just from homosexual participants, individuals or groups. “i feel like i’m a parent,” thus, i am a parent. “i feel like i’m a “we,” thus, i’m a we. etc.

i was just filling out a legal document which required info about my deceased husband. the pronoun used for him was “they.”
i’m not a bigamist. he was not confused. he is deceased.

The writers of the Constitution 100% did not intend to see gay marriage forced on the states. Try again, Ken.

Per Pablo Yoder: Lisa’s sentencing is scheduled for next Tuesday, May 24, at 12:00 noon at Federal Court in Buffalo, New York, before the Honorable Richard Arcara. It appears likely that she may be released on time served.

Thanks for the update. We all need to be in prayer that the judge will be lenient and she will be released.
