Re: March in DC January 6

An example of a painful moment in U.S. history.
Upstaging POTUS at SOTU. (Btw, quite a good speech, well delivered.) A DNC political coup. Insurrection?

Whatever it was, it was UGLY. No moral defense on any level.

Here are Biden's aggregate approval ratings (green) vs Trump (grey) for every day so far in the Biden Presidency. He has consistently been more popular than Trump for every single day of his presidency. Especially early in his presidency. So yes, it seems quite plausible that he managed to beat Trump who's popularity on his best day was lower than Biden on his worst day: https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/bi ... al-rating/

Elections are binary. Biden didn't beat Ronald Reagan, he beat Trump who was the most consistently and universally unpopular president in American history. Not once in Trump's entire 4-year presidency did a majority of Americans ever approve of the job he was doing. The only president in the history of modern polling for whom that is true.

Biden also polled well ahead of Trump during the entire primary and general election campaign in 2020. There was no moment in the entire campaign when Trump polled ahead of Biden. Not one. So yes, it is more than plausible that he won by more than 7 million votes. The polls actually suggested a more impressive win than that. What is actually surprising to me is that Republicans actually want to bring back such a universally unpopular president and resounding loser for another go in 2024. Is the Republican bench actually that barren?

If the graphic you included shows what I think it does, it rather gives the lie to your claim.

Is it just my sarcasm that you object to, or sarcasm in general.
I guess I just do not really understand your purpose for being here. You do this often and seem to try to get into disagreements with others and find any way you can to "rub salt into wounds" you can find.

A little sarcasm is fine, but you seem to ravel in it and want to target those you may have a different political position. While we do include politics, this is not the purpose of the forum. The purpose is to build connection and community. You seem to work against that. Maybe I am just missing posts you make that are kind and supporting of others here. If so, then I am willing to be wrong. Feel free to show me places you have done this. If you are just here to sew discord, well, we are guided in scripture to stay away from people like that.

Multiple others here have their own issues and some have been addressed. Instead of externalizing it, look inward and ask some serious questions of what you are really doing here and what you are wanting. I have no desire to be your babysitter, nor do the other Mods. We want free, honest and healthy discussion. I ask you to help with that. Please be kind and consider others as more important them yourself. Instead of insulting, please uplift and encourage us to better places.

I suppose that might be convenient in some situations, though this model is a bit lacking in privacy.

I have to say, I never expected to hear Josh refer to the Holdemans as a "bizarre group." It's fascinating what all shows up in this place sometimes. :D

Use prayer as the main weapon of bringing down strongholds.
I doubt very many of the early Anabaptists just used prayer. Seems like a few of them openly entered churches and preached while the preacher was trying to preach.
Try that in 21st century North America and you might get told to "go to some house church with your Amish buddies."

I have to say I respect Steven Anderson. He is very forthright and honest about exactly what he believes.

I did, however, find it amusing he thinks Amish meetings are a free for all!
