Hank Aaron would be an example. There are plenty of them.

There’s zero evidence anyone would still be alive if they were “vaccinated” six months ago; vaccinations don’t prevent you from getting covid.

I was making a point about anecdotal evidence and how we consistently will hear about this anti-vaxxer or that one but the stories about vaccinated people dying generally are suppressed. Making a decision to vaccinate or not shouldn't be made based off of what the media deems important.

But of course to be consistent one must make the same point about any anecdotal evidence. It is all absolutely meaningless.

Anecdotal reports of Ivermectin curing Covid: Meaningless
Anecdotal reports of vaccine side effects: Meaningless

And yes, anecdotal reports of vaccine success: Meaningless. My whole family has been vaccinated and none of us have caught Covid. That means the vaccine is 100% effective, right? Results don't lie. Or do they?

The only information that actually has probative value in these cases is data that is carefully controlled and vetted according to the best scientific and statistical methods. Anything else is just meaningless noise.

Oh I totally agree on anecdotal applying to both sides.
But the problem with the carefully controlled data is lack of collecting some of the data leaving the conclusions very flawed. This is part of the reason I trust Israel's data more then ours. For example deciding not to track cases of positives following vaccination unless hospitalized, tracking all the infections prior to vaccine as well as after compared to covid positives after vaccination. Data can easily be skewed and any dissenting voices have been branded as heretics.

One contribution the anecdotes serve, is as a catalyst. If there is enough anecdotal accounts making a big enough stir, it may drive someone to legitimately research the matter. Whereas it may have never been researched otherwise.

The CDC deserved to be completely de-funded and abolished for their failure in tracking.

but Israel may not innocent either, as it would appear that they are fiddling with their public data

Why does this continue to happen? Why does the FDA need 55 years to release the data, why can't the data be made public? I want to believe it's just bureaucratic incompetency, but it increasingly feels like something more sinister.

What is this tweet-graph saying? Ignoring 0-4? I see a blue line on the graph. But I don’t understand Hebrew.

You have to read through the thread, but basically the Israeli data keeps changing in response to the age targets of the current vaccine campaign. There is no possible explanation, since we have yet to find any variants that target younger people with any significance.

I'm not having any luck finding it (it may have been scrubbed from the Internet), but there was also proof of the actual historical dashboard data being modified. I'll try to dig it up.

In summary, they're changing their data to suit their agenda. It makes sense, they basically mortgaged themselves to Pfizer.

Anecdotal reports of masks stopping Covid: Meaningless
Anecdotal reports of social distancing stopping Covid: Meaningless.
Anecdotal evidence that sending people home to get over Covid without any attempts to give them anything to help: deadly.
