Google most certainly isn't the Word of God, of that we both agree.

However it is the fastest way to see what has actually been reported on a topic across the entire media spectrum from left to right.

DuckDuckGo is much better and does not have as much of the limiting algorithms.

Fine. I just tried DuckDuckGo and still didn't find any independent confirmation of the assertion that 200 members of Congress took Ivermectin. Only a bunch of sites that were repeating and referencing Dr Pierre Kory's original tweet which made that assertion without any evidence.

i use google, i’m not proud to say .. but even in a google search, DuckDuckGo is at #1.
i use it - with questions about what is NOT there??! plenty is not there.

“7 Best Search Engines Other Than Google”
https://neilpatel.com/blog/alternative-search-engines/

there is a lot more on this. but i’m not motivated to put more effort into it at the moment. :)
i’m speaking in generalities. not about any one search.

my main discomfort with google is when i go to search something I KNOW i’ve seen/heard with my own eyes/ears, yet it’s nowhere to be found. so much just disappears, or is removed - on what was originally billed as “the internet is forever.”
no. it’s not. not if it doesn’t support the lib PC agenda.

funny how that works. or, maybe not funny, at all.

i’m not sure if this may have been posted earlier. 45 pages.

“Review of the Emerging Evidence Demonstrating the Efficacy of Ivermectin in the Prophylaxis and Treatment of COVID-19”
Pierre Kory, MD, Gianfranco Umberto Meduri, MD, [...], and Paul E. Marik, MD
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8088823/
Example: Page 2 of 45:

Data Sources:
Data were sourced from published peer-reviewed studies, manuscripts posted to preprint servers, expert meta-analyses, and numerous epidemiological analyses of regions with ivermectin distribution campaigns.

Therapeutic Advances:
A large majority of randomized and observational controlled trials of ivermectin are reporting repeated, large magnitude improvements in clinical outcomes. Numerous prophylaxis trials demonstrate that regular ivermectin use leads to large reductions in transmission. Multiple, large “natural experiments” occurred in regions that initiated “ivermectin distribution” campaigns followed by tight, reproducible, temporally associated decreases in case counts and case fatality rates compared with nearby regions without such campaigns.

Conclusions:
Meta-analyses based on 18 randomized controlled treatment trials of ivermectin in COVID-19 have found large, statistically significant reductions in mortality, time to clinical recovery, and time to viral clearance. Furthermore, results from numerous controlled prophylaxis trials report significantly reduced risks of contracting COVID-19 with the regular use of ivermectin.
Finally, the many examples of ivermectin distribution campaigns leading to rapid population-wide decreases in morbidity and mortality indicate that an oral agent effective in all phases of COVID-19 has been identified.

he doesn’t post frequently, his last post was Oct 17. it was unusual for him to post several times on this topic, i always look forward to his input, this is not an exception. i pray he and his loved ones are doing well.

If it doesn't respond the next stop is a ventilator so please make a special point of praying for him tonight. The other friends sound like they are experiencing the same thing only milder at this point.

I have read that bacterial pneumonia is a common sequel to Covid and often what kills people in the end. Just as it was with Spanish Influenza back in the day.

Kelsey is feeling better and sitting up in bed. Carl also feeling better and I talked him out of going right back to work. He was particularly reluctant to take IVM ("hard pass") but obediently started taking it yesterday - "to please dad and wife" - when his sister arrived to be the family's Angel of Mercy. I told him that taking Ivermectin was like Pascal's wager with medicine: if it doesn't work there's nothing lost and if it does work there is much to gain. :)
Kelsey went into the hospital last night suffering from dehydration and as it turned out, pneumonia. The doctors are  concerned that her blood pressure remains low and there are indications of blood clotting so they are going to give her a CT scan to see what's going on. She had gone off the IVM a few days ago to try a homeopathic concoction.

Carl is still doing well but we are concerned about him getting over tired - he was up quite late at the hospital. Our daughter is there to care for their 3 kids and so far is symptom free.
 Update: Kelsey and Jason are both home from hospital, praise the Lord!
 One other woman we know of is on a ventilator, so please pray for Carol if you would.

Truly was hoping for an update!

It was going around his family and friends and he's been so quiet I didn't know if anyone knew him personally to shed some light on his situation.

What is bizarre? Something like 99% or more of people who get sick with Covid eventually get better. The relevant question is whether outcomes with Ivermectin are statistically better than other more conventional treatments. Most people actually get better regardless of what treatment they get or whether or not they even get any treatment.
