Most all Casseroles are problematic for me , hardly ever care for them ,I am a meat ,Veggie, and potatoes person , and have been trying to convince my dear wife about this for 10 years ,or so
Those wonderful Church Carry-ins, with that line of smudgy ,who knows what's in them dishes? , If you take a fork and carefully parse one apart, one can often tell exactly what that particular family had plenty of since the prior pot-luck.......and don't be fooled by the tomato sauce stuff poured on the top to kind of hold it all together.......
