now i find myself doing a double-take, is that JimFV posting, or RZehr?! :P
i’m becoming satisfied RZehr’s avatar is Menno Simons, just a pic i haven’t seen, or found.
Typically, MS is depicted with recognizable eyes. This angle is hard to be sure.

i’m still confusing with JimFV. every time.

Huh. Who’d have guessed that me, Jim, Menno and Plato all looked alike?

Today in , FL's Walmart, an older lady paused by me and said, "God bless you today, dear." That was sweet.

Washed little potatoes in the washer. Put them in several pillow cases and tied them shut.

Want to cut them up and freeze them.

I'm blanching them before freezing.

The potato crop wasn't very big and they are not keeping. Starting to rot already. Rather than ending up pitching them, I'd rather freeze them. We don't care for the canned potato taste.

You can’t buy raw potatoes year around?

They are grown commercially around here, and are dirt cheap all the time to buy. I did grow a little this year just for fun. Haven’t dug them.

We had a few little potatoes in our bucket garden on the front porch. They tasted really good. Our cats loved sleeping on top as we had straw in the containers to keep down the weeds, ie, no weeding necessary.
