No, but men are to cut their hair, and women are not...

So are you saying men should be entirely clean shaven, then...? And women to be furry little creatures...?

Oh my... we have everything all wrong... I'll tell my wife we have it wrong and to grow out her beard. (nevermind the fact she can't)

My wife wanted to add her two cents.
This whole line between right and wrong on this gets a little fuzzy, i guess.

Yeah, I went through and read the beard thread.... it seemed to have very little to do with beards... go in to read about beards and suddenly I'm thinking about Holdie's kapps....steve-in-kville wrote: ↑Wed Sep 15, 2021 6:12 amThe entire MN forum is blurry right nowmike wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 4:49 pmYour beard thread turned into discussing women shaving their legs, I guess it is only fair this thread turns into a discussion of beards.steve-in-kville wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 12:38 pm Who knows. Re: To shave or not to shave (women's legs)
Some Old Order groups are very strict that women should never cut any hair, anywhere. I once went to a funeral in Wayne/Holmes County that a massive number of attendees. I actually just went and stood in line for about an hour and a half to visit with other people standing in line, then went home. That's how long the receiving line was. There was a Swartzentruber-appearance Amish couple, a bit elderly, and both the man and a woman were sporting a beard. The woman's "beard" style was more like a goatee, but more interestingly, her moustache was shaved off, just like her husband's.
Whatever your beliefs are on these things, I do not think that a woman needs to shave off her moustache in order to avoid a "military" appearance if she otherwise is mandated to keep a beard.

So if a woman has long hair on her legs or armpits, it is a glory to her? Or maybe it's actually speaking of her pate hair.

I am always suspicious of a woman that has more facial hair than I do.
