No, actually he didn’t. Here is the full text of his speech yesterday. I invite you to find where he named you or anyone else “the enemy”

You clearly didn't watch his speech.
Both the transcript and video of his speech are on the White House web site. Feel free to show us where he called unvaccinated Americans “the enemy”

He didn't have to say it, his body language, tone of voice and demeanor exuded anger and hatred for the unvaccinated.

One thing Biden’s speech did do, was take the focus off his Afghanistan debacle and his other lies and failures.

His speech was dripping with derision for those of us who feel we shouldn't get vaccinated. Basically, he pitted society as now a conflict of the vaccinated vs. the unvaccinated.[/quote]

Here's what Biden said:
This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated.

[W]e still have nearly 80 million Americans who have failed to get the shot.

The vast majority of Americans are doing the right thing. Nearly three quarters of the eligible have gotten at least one shot, but one quarter has not gotten any.

That 25 percent can cause a lot of damage — and they are.

We’re going to protect vaccinated workers from unvaccinated co-workers.

We’ve been patient, but our patience is wearing thin. And your refusal has cost all of us.

[W]e’ve had record job creation for a new administration, economic growth unmatched in 40 years. We cannot let unvaccinated do this progress — undo it, turn it back.

Get vaccinated.
Biden's message is that people such as myself are "doing a lot of damage", that my vaccinated coworkers need "protected" from me, that vaccinate people's patience is "wearing thing" with me (exactly what does that mean?), that my refusal has "cost all of us", and that somehow I have the power to undo all the amazing alleged economic growth since Biden was elected.

It's us vs. them. It's trying to stir up 75% of America to think the other 25% or 30% of America is their enemy. Notice he did not talk at all about making room for people with religious objections to these aborted-baby tissue based vaccines. He said the phrase "100%" in reference to teachers; obviously, he doesn't respect the religious beliefs of teachers who don't believe in taking this vaccine.

Ken, this is what happens when someone wants to start a war and stoke and stir division and hatred. Will you reject this, and acknowledge that even humans who choose not to get vaccinated or that hold religious objections against it are your brothers, are fellow humans, and are not your enemy?

Or do you plan to join the legions of hate?

At his Inaugural Address Biden called for unity. But that can be added to his list of lies.

When Trump was president Biden and Harris spent a lot of time undermining public confidence in the vaccine.

From today's NY TImes:
  • Three [CDC released] studies that drew data from different U.S. regions evaluated the protective power of the vaccines. One looked at more than 600,000 virus cases in 13 states, representing about one quarter of the U.S. population, between April and July, and concluded that individuals who were not fully vaccinated were far more susceptible to infection and death from the virus.

They were 4.5 times more likely than vaccinated individuals to become infected, 10 times more likely to be hospitalized, and 11 times more likely to die from the coronavirus, the study found.

Vaccine protection against hospitalization and death remained strong even when the Delta variant was the dominant form of infection. But the vaccines’ effectiveness in preventing infection dropped from 91 percent to 78 percent, the study found.

I'm curious what current stats would be. There seems to be some variation by area. The local health unit said tonight that unvaccinated were 9 times as likely to be infected as fully vaccinated. The actual provincial numbers today released by the provincial government showed 534 unvaccinated testing positive and 189 fully vaccinated testing positive. That differential has been dwindling very slowly over the past 2 or 3 weeks.

Here is the actual New York Times report on the Christmas 1942 Belleville Amish smallpox outbreak and resulting quarantine and vaccination campaign that I mentioned upstream. I found it to be an interesting slice of history that I had never heard about before until my mother mentioned living through it last night over dinner

It dwindles as people lose confidence in the vaccine, because people that get sick with COVID after being vaccinated just don't bother to get tested as much as those that aren't - and of course the unvaccinated will receive advice to come to the hospital and get hospitalized on the assumption they are worse off, while the vaccinated are told to just stay home until symptoms subside. It is real easy to skew numbers unless they tested everybody.
