Today is the last full day of my new friend's life, as he is to be executed tomorrow. I posted about him in prayer requests, but that doesn't seem to be read much.

Please pray that if he hasn't repented and put his trust in Jesus, that he will.

Father, grant to this man, the gift of repentance and the ability to be forgiven in his own mind. Thank you that even the thief on the cross was able to be saved at the last moment. In Jesus' name, AMEN

Try hard not to offend. Try harder not to be offended.
I think I am funnier than I really am.

He got a stay of execution. More time to pray for his spiritual state.

Today our dishwasher got repaired. Went out last November. The computer went out, was supposedly ordered right away, and the part just now arrived and got installed. Thanks, Covid economy.

Sadly, our friend Wayne Chesley passed on to heaven last night. Sadly for us, but in rejoicing for him! RIP Wayne

Today I am very thankful for all of Soloist's posts on the ethics of vaccination. Dh and I (do you guys use that here? dear husband....it's used around the mb communities) have been working tirelessly for the last several days writing our statement to the government on our objections to the vaccine mandate. While most of our statement revolved around the relationship he has with Jesus, the statements that Soloist has made over the last several months did help us to formulate in writing why we feel the use of fetal tissue in any vaccine is morally wrong. We have always strongly felt this way, but Soloist has a very eloquent and unemotional way of stating facts. For this, he helped us to learn to word our feelings better. Thank you for that Soloist. We appreciate your articulation of such an important topic.

Dh was new to me on MD, it was used frequently, when the forum had more mb/CM females actively posting. i believe many left about the time Sunbeam left for FB. and other tech options. SB occasionally revisits! :)

i agree regarding Soloist.
i appreciate his patient explanations, both of the science and his faith response to the science.
hope you are doing well. :)

Today ..
i stumbled onto a page by former MD member, JEFF McLAIN.
i’d been trying to remember his name recently, i could not.
i have no idea what he’s doing today. (there is a link to his current blog on this page.)

i was searching for the “ask my neighbor” quote. this is his version:
