Amen. Let's focus on what is true and not on proving that someone else is inconsistent.

There is some editorial in this report, but also some good data. I am posting it for the data I think well outshines the editorial.

One American News. Rumble. Seriously? Right-wing "alternative truth" should not be treated as medical literature.

And medical disinformation is killing people. That's why YouTube and Facebook won't carry this stuff. Let's not let extremist politics drive our understanding of EVERYTHING.

Do you have any references to anything the medical community or scientists would respect? If there's really "good data" here, could you please present it, with pointers to something we can actually read and evaluate?

As far as I can tell, the medical consensus on this is:

https://www.fda.gov/consumers/consumer- ... t-covid-19

1. Treating yourself with veterinary Ivermectin or taking large doses is downright dangerous, it can send you to the hospital, it could kill you (but most people do survive).
2. Some doctors do prescribe Ivermectin, if you follow their dosage, you should be safe.
3. It has not been shown safe or effective against Covid-19
4. Side effects can be serious. Like all prescription drugs, it's worth asking your pharmacist about risks and interactions with other medications.
Even the levels of ivermectin for approved human uses can interact with other medications, like blood-thinners. You can also overdose on ivermectin, which can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hypotension (low blood pressure), allergic reactions (itching and hives), dizziness, ataxia (problems with balance), seizures, coma and even death.
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34318930/

5. There are some studies on the use of Ivermectin, nothing high quality at this point. It certainly does not seem like a breakthrough cure for Covid-19. If it were really THAT good, you would expect it to be obvious by now.

You mean like Dehli and Uttar pradesh having effectively no COVID cases?

If it's not effective, why are countries like Japan starting to use it?

The medical consensus in Japan is that it's effective. Of course, neither you nor I read Japanese, but that's probably worth paying attention to.

I don't think YouTube and Facebook are good arbiters of truth. Let's not let left-wing extremist politics drive our understanding of everything, either.

Yes. Seriously. Just because it does not fit into your view of how things should be does not make it wrong.

Ivermectin has been prescribed to people for 40 years. Nowhere in that video does it suggest taking it yourself. Why do you jump to these extremes? Seriously?

Rumble is a well established video hosting site. It is not an arm if the DNC as YouTube is. I find it quite refreshing. I watch a lot of content there.

You entire line above is exactly what you suggest we not do. Rant emotionally without looking at facts. Seriously?

1. i’ve never viewed rumble or OAN before.
2. i appreciate the reference to the China Virus. :P
3. i think i’ll message my doctor’s office to ask about Ivermectin, in the event i get the virus, or, as some report, for when i eventually get it. i would like to know it’s possible to have it prescribed without a court order. (in screwball IL or WA, i expect negative.)
4. i was vaccinated in Feb+March. i have misgivings.
5. i’ve masked whether asked to or not - mainly to avoid being hassled.
6. my family has been carefully hand washing for decades.
7. physical distance is (too) typical in my life.

This is Glenn Greenwald, a well known, progressive reporter who has lately, been calling out the deceit and hypocrisy of the media.
