Things that are not part of politics happening presently and how we approach or address it as Anabaptists.

Josh:
.. One of the problems is a “who decides” - as a nation we have no consensus on when life even begins, or who/what a “person” is ..

Science has proven and documented in every way, including real time photography, human life begins at conception.
Scriptures tell us God authors human life BEFORE conception. i believe this. i’m not aware anyone expects this reality to be recognized in human law.

Upon conception, a human life, in some stage, in some condition, unharmed or harmed, WILL EXIT its mother’s body, alive or dead.
God trusts us to nourish and protect human infants. God’s designed protection begins in the human womb. Amazing design!
Mothers and fathers are primary. Society has responsibility; as you repeat, there are various laws against murder, manslaughter, violence. Actions that harm or end human life are prosecuted.

[(Actions that harm or end ANIMAL life are prosecuted!)]

Courts are specially harsh regarding harming or ending life - in PREMEDITATED ways, even more so when FOR PROFIT. :-|
Wild exceptions for corporate PROFITEERS of extermination of the unborn need to be ended. Utter madness.

Based only on new science following RvW, a revisit is conservative+logical, on anyone’s radar. The science is available to every man, woman, child, with access to any sort of library or technology, going back to basic TV, prior to the internet.

A revisit of RvW would likely lead to establishment of HUMAN PERSONHOOD protections for the human unborn.

Human persons in various stages of development. Conceived to be no other thing.
Conceived in the safest place for development, until their certain exit, alive or dead.

Only “advanced” cultures who accept gov as god need such courtroom antics to accept that human infants, and only human infants, result from human conception. And, that EVERY conceived child will exit its mother’s body, at some stage of development, in some condition, unharmed or harmed, alive or dead. Every single time. No other thing happens.

Dr Ben Carson, formerly pro choice

Pro life IS pro choice! - Make choices BEFORE conception. Plenty from which to choose.
(no. minority exceptions of incest, etc., should NOT open the floodgates to pretend wholesale abortion is a necessity.)
Those kinds of cheap LIES need to end.

Abortion is a big for profit industry.

The Texas law now lets pro life people have some of that money. And that’s why liberals are so mad.

it’s definitely about corporate profits. without, this topic would be “crickets.” guaranteed!
we deceive ourselves. and we are deceived.

it can be absolutely impossible to admit error. egos are no small factor in this.

“Texas doctor protests abortion law by admitting he carried out procedure”
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/ ... reme-court
.. Protesting against a Texas law that outlaws abortion after six weeks of pregnancy and empowers citizens to sue providers and anyone who helps them, a San Antonio doctor said he had provided an abortion beyond the new legal limit.

“I am taking a personal risk,” Alan Braid wrote for the Washington Post. “But it’s something I believe in strongly.
“I have daughters, granddaughters and nieces.

I believe abortion is an essential part of healthcare.
I have spent the last 50 years treating and helping patients.

 I can’t just sit back and watch us return to 1972.”

“Healthcare” is about “doing no harm,” not premeditated, for-profit killing.

The 1972-type arguments are baseless. There is no going back.
Advances in medical science, including real time medical photography, freely available to everyone, insures, no going back.
Add to that the many widely available choices in PREVENTION of conception, both male+female methods, again, CHOICE needs to be before conception. Educate+empower.

But, no surprise at the low tactics. Just, “as we all have come to expect.” Nothing more.

Supreme Court Abortion Texas
In this Oct. 18, 2021 photo, the Supreme Court is seen in Washington.

Texas is urging the Supreme Court to leave in place its law banning most abortions and telling the justices there’s no reason to rush into the case.

The state filed its response Thursday to the Biden administration’s call on the high court to block the law
and rule conclusively this term on the measure’s constitutionality.

The DNC is deeply committed to abortion corporations. No grey area.
i’m stunned any politician would do this, they are typically fence-sitters, but, here we are. Beyond dispute.

Some years ago these teenage Crusaders for Life sang the Coventry Carol, a sixteenth century song, in the Illinois State Capitol, to oppose more "pro-choice" laws that were being considered. The song commemorates the "Holy Innocents" slain by Herod.

I think the Bishop at the time referred to the Democrats as "Herodians."

i’m tearful. and amazed.
i wonder who the bishop was?

by comparison, Herod was greatly restrained. his effort was specific and time-limited. there is no comparison.

i’m mortified at what has since happened to many children of Catholic education - who transfer to public schools.
they are silenced, their minds unapologetically raped and left for dead.

they are the lucky ones. most children have no exposure to Truth, at all. helpless.

There were more than one bishop who encouraged the activists. (I think it was a choir from one diocese that joined the Crusaders for Life from another, and their bishops encouraged this.) However, the Herodian comment was made by a priest not by a bishop. (That was my own mistake, sorry!.)

If I had kids, I'd certainly want them raised in a school that's also a community of faith, since faith formation is an essential part of their education, imo. Who cares what secularists have to say about it?

The pressures are intense on children, teens, young people, not confined to any time or space. It’s everywhere they turn.

Even faith based schools, all levels, get mired in it. Too often, by leaders. Nothing can be presumed by names.
i’m sure you’re aware.

Great video. Could it even be accomplished/replicated today? i wonder.

i’m trying to figure out how to share it in email. any ideas? :)
