Israel now has the worst COVID case per person rate in the world.
It would also appear that the boosters aren't providing even the short term efficacy that the original two shots did, as 3 jab cases are on the rise.

Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
Israel is currently seeing around 25 deaths per day from Covid, less than half of what it saw during its highest peak in terms of deaths back in January, and that is despite the fact that it just saw its highest peak in terms of cases a couple of days ago.

Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
Ok...and? I thought COVID was a very serious disease even if it's not that deadly because of long haul symptoms of something, idk to be honest. Are deaths the only metric that matter now? If that's the case, let's get back to life as normal, because COVID's IFR is 0.05%.
Unfortunately deaths lag cases by quite a bit.

I don't have an agenda; I only am pointing out additional facts that may help to understand the picture better.nett wrote: ↑Wed Sep 01, 2021 11:54 am Ok...and? Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
If we're just going by deaths, Tanzania has a population of 60M, and has the lowest recorded deaths / Million of any country. Their vaccination rate is .5%.mike wrote: ↑Wed Sep 01, 2021 11:45 amIn terms of Covid deaths per million, Israel is currently ranked at #80 on Worldometers.

So we have, Israel being the frontrunner in vaccination, get 80% of adults vaccinated (the point at which the high priest of COVID, Fauci assured us herd immunity was all but guaranteed) faster than anyone else, and they have the worst covid case rate in the world
We have Tanzania who refused the vaccines (until their leader died mysteriously), and basically treated COVID essentially like a common cold, and...they are the best in the world.
Which one of these is better?

Having lived in Liberia, West Africa and knowing the poor living conditions and lack of quality healthcare in that region, I am very curious why Covid has not ravaged that region more.

Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
Very curious indeed. It could be that what passes as “quality healthcare” by Westerners in 2021 actually isn’t, like putting people on ventilators that kill them, giving vaccines that don’t prevent a disease, and refusing simple treatments they work.
Africa is a huge consumer of ivermectin. That might be why covid is so rare there.

Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
I have seen that idea in some of the research I've done on Ivermectin. I was dreading the outcomes when I read about the first Covid cases reaching Liberia. Strangely, the outcomes have been far better than much of the rest of the world.Josh wrote: ↑Wed Sep 01, 2021 1:06 pmVery curious indeed.
