So sorry for your loss, and prayers for your wife and sister-in-law.

Maybe early supportive experimental COVID treatment(s) would have helped him, maybe not.
Only God knows.

Also, there is no agreement by experts on what is/are the best supportive treatment(s).

And yes, we are using some of these treatments in our hospital. Every treatment has potential risks, which makes it so complicated.
I'm thankful for an excellent team here made up of hospital pharmacists, infectious disease and others who are regularly
updating our treatment guidelines based on the best research. Still there are more questions than answers.

So glad to hear that your brother-in-law knew Jesus.
Eternal life through Him is 100% sure.

Dan
I agree that early treatment could have prevented his death. I'm also a strong believer in our God created immune system and if we learn as responsible people how to eat properly avoid things that interfere with a proper functioning of our immune system and no and learn what supplements help our immune system because catching a virus is all about your immune system, then we can build it up to avoid getting sick to begin with especially during a Time where viruses are going rampant.

From the beginning there were treatments that were successful in keeping people out of the hospital but these doctors were censored. Therefore patients that went to the hospital died by the hundreds of thousands. Why were these doctors censored and discredited from the beginning. They weren't amateurs they were doctors!

Would you mind sharing what treatments they are using in your hospital now there are more effective than the treatments they were doing which allowed so many to die.

I'm a fan of early treatments too but I know that nothing's perfect. I view Covid the same as I view cancer, heart attack, stroke or pneumonia. I take precautions but I know that one or other of those will take me in the next 20-25 years. And I know where I'm going after that.

A funny thing happened to me today. I went to the local hospital to get a blood panel done, had to mask up and go through the Covid prescreening at the main entrance. Noted that inpatient visits are now by appointment only. But at no point was I asked about my vaccination status. :)

That's a pretty bold assertion nett - citation, please?

Data released by the ministry suggested that people vaccinated in January appeared to have just 16% protection against infection now

16% efficacy is statistically insignificant, there are a lot of unrelated control factors that would account for more than 16%.

I think the effect varies across age bands, younger people are still relatively more protected. But then they would be anyway.
But I agree, the trend is clear.

The only raw data I've found is in Hebrew, so I couldn't say one way or another.

Meanwhile. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/08/31/two-sen ... -down.html

I seem to remember someone saying that the Biden admin was NOT ahead of the various departments, and that they were all in lockstop. So much for that.
The officials were reportedly frustrated with the White House getting ahead of the agency on booster shots.
This is a BIG loss in the checks and balances for vaccine safety. I think it's safe to say at this point that the FDA's approval of Comirnaty was based on political pressure not actual validation. The Director and Deputy director vacating their positions is a big red flag indicating that the FDA has been sidelined, and will now be nothing more than a political figurehead going forward

And the biggest loss is that a safe, effective, and long term vaccine for COVID may never happen now, replaced with bogus snake-oil alternatives.

Meanwhile, something's changed in 2021 with vaccines:

In 2020 and years prior, Americans have been very vaccinated, with children receiving vaccines and adults (such as myself) getting booster shots like TDAP and flu shots. So why is there such a sudden spike in adverse advents?

And it turns out that the best protection for COVID is natural immunity, which you may indeed get from something as simple as the common cold:
Science wrote:Certain immune cells from prior infections with "common cold" coronaviruses boost the immune response against #COVID19, a new study led by Charité Medical University Berlin and the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics concludes.

You think throwing out anecdotes of an obvious scammer who may or not have COVID discredits anything? Your lack of a rebuttal speaks far louder.

I wonder how long this whole thing will have to go on before you relent to the reality that people will have to build immunity to this virus, and building that immunity will come at a cost.

For the time being, you will continue to try to escape the reality of what Jesus tells us in Luke 11
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
I don't see anything in there about vaccines being our savior.

One thing that has changed is that we are in the midst of a pandemic and a mass-inoculation campaign.

These numbers would make more sense if they were given relative to the total number of vaccines administered.
