Things that are not part of politics happening presently and how we approach or address it as Anabaptists.

I'm sorry for your family's loss Robert.

We had a distant relationship, but he was a believer so he is in a much better place. My wife is more concerned about her sister and her loss.

I still think early therapeutics would have helped and might have prevented his death.

Robert,
So sorry for your loss, and prayers for your wife and sister-in-law.

Maybe early supportive experimental COVID treatment(s) would have helped him, maybe not.
Only God knows.

Also, there is no agreement by experts on what is/are the best supportive treatment(s).

And yes, we are using some of these treatments in our hospital. Every treatment has potential risks, which makes it so complicated.
I'm thankful for an excellent team here made up of hospital pharmacists, infectious disease and others who are regularly
updating our treatment guidelines based on the best research. Still there are more questions than answers.

So glad to hear that your brother-in-law knew Jesus.
Eternal life through Him is 100% sure.

I agree that early treatment could have prevented his death. I'm also a strong believer in our God created immune system and if we learn as responsible people how to eat properly avoid things that interfere with a proper functioning of our immune system and no and learn what supplements help our immune system because catching a virus is all about your immune system, then we can build it up to avoid getting sick to begin with especially during a Time where viruses are going rampant.

From the beginning there were treatments that were successful in keeping people out of the hospital but these doctors were censored. Therefore patients that went to the hospital died by the hundreds of thousands. Why were these doctors censored and discredited from the beginning. They weren't amateurs they were doctors!

Would you mind sharing what treatments they are using in your hospital now there are more effective than the treatments they were doing which allowed so many to die.

Yesterday one of our local rags posted an editorial masquerading as a news article, proclaiming that an Ohio woman has persuaded a "Court of Common Please" [sic] judge to order a hospital to give "Animal dewormer" to her husband. And then people wonder why folks don't trust the news.....

That's how Ivermectin is framed in most cases in the mainstream news. Very seldom do you see mention of Ivermectin for humans. I was listening to a CNN interview of Dr Fauci and that's how it was framed. Dr Fauci said there are no clinical studies showing that it works. That may be true of the animal variety, but there are plenty of peer reviewed studies showing Ivermectin's efficacy in treating Covid. There's little wonder why many people no longer trust the "news" or the experts.

One of my friends is taking ivermectin.

She got it at the neighbourhood pharmacy, with a prescription from her doctor.

No vets, Tractor Supply Company, or horses are involved. (Well, my wife did stop at TSC to get a plumbing fitting she needed to clean out cloth diapers, but she didn't get any horse dewormer.)

She has also made an excellent recovery.

Israel just hit an all time high for cases. The Pfizer vaccine is no longer statistically significant in reducing infections compared. The efficacy against severe symptoms and deaths is also trending downwards.

The vaccine's sad lack of efficacy created a double whammy for Israel, not only were vaccinated people NOT protected, they have also been shown to be highly contagious when injected, which means their "green passport" system gave super spreaders a free pass to run around in public spreading their vaccine-resistant delta strain.

Unvaccinated people meanwhile are locked down, and unable to build the MUCH more powerful natural immunity gained via infection and recovery.

Meanwhile, unvaccinated Palestine is experiencing no such outbreak.

At this point, it looks like the vaccines are a total failure. Israel would have been better off with Palestine's approach.

At least the people in the West Bank and Gaza finally caught a break. They've put up with so much for so long. Palestinian are extremely vaccine sceptical.
