I just had a two hour chat with a hospital “spiritual counselor”. I shared my joy with him (2 Peter 3:16). I made him happy (I might have blown his mind). Perhaps that was part of the purpose for my being here?

The doctor had thought the worst was over but he started having breathing difficulties and they considered putting him on a ventilator yesterday but put him on CPAP instead. Today he's being put on a ventilator and moved to a bigger hospital.

Please pray for him, his wife, and my brothers.
.. continuing prayers.

and, asking for prayers. :-|
my 13 year old granddaughter has been very ill this week.
her Rapid Covid test was negative, as was her rapid Strep test.
neither are definitive tests, she’s ill, and we are waiting for full results.

i find myself hoping it’s strep, i hope that’s not a mistake. :? antibiotics can be prescribed for strep. right? :-|

it hurts her to talk.
last night i read to her from 2000 miles away; when she was younger, we would read frequently, often daily.
so reading last night felt like a visit with an old friend for us. i hope we will continue today.

Valerie,
i’ve been talking with my family about zinc and D3; i’m taking it now, her mother got some for her.

my sister had walking pneumonia for about a year as a young teen. she was so sick for so long.
there is mono, which can take weeks/months. Lyme disease. probably not RSV. so many bugs.

they’ve been told to quarantine, at least until the strep test results return. “by Monday.”
i hope today.

Thank you for praying. The last update I had is that he wasn't any better but he wasn't any worse either.

I'll pray for your granddaughter. Whether it's strep or something more serious (though hopefully it's not something more serious) some extra Vitamin C may help in addition to the zinc and D3.

Please pray for my neighbor. Daisy is in her mid thirties, a wife and mother of three. She is in the hospital on a ventilator with the Delta variant. I’m told they are not sure if she is going to make it or not. She is a Christian. The family just moved here from California this summer, and know very few people here.

Ron passed away last night. Please pray for his wife and for my brothers. This is a major blow.

Here is a little up date on Daisy. She's making a little bit of progress they lowered her oxygen on the machine just a little and her vitals are good they're turning her on her stomach so that her lungs could be more relax and breath easier

Lungs. Breathing.

Praying for Daisy and her loved ones. So much at stake for each afflicted person.
