I'm curious what the pro-covid-vax here think of Dr Robert Malone (considered to be the the principle inventor of the mRNA vaccine). He's come out pretty strongly discouraging the use of what he calls experimental vaccines, especially in younger people who basically have no risk from COVID, but face significant risk due to unknowable long term side effects.
From what I've read, he doesn't speak in extremes, and is himself very moderate. Unfortunately, he was quickly "canceled" after speaking out, and had his account disabled on youtube, Linkedin etc, although linkedin did eventually re-instate his accoun
It's concerning that the mainstream has completely ignored this expert in the field, and his controversial views has actually been suppressed. His voice should be just as loud as Fauci's, he certainly knows a great deal more about the technology being used.
I've read a lot on here about trusting the scientific consensus, but apparently one of the world's foremost expert doesn't agree with the consensus, and is silenced when pointing out some pretty straightforward with the global vaccine strategy. This is what causes political indifferent people like myself to be very skeptical of the various vaccines. Scientific consensus appears to have failed, and we are not in a completely political system. And the bottom line is, I (and many others) simply do not trust politicians with my health.
I should also note, he does not promote or buy into any conspiracy theories regarding the vaccines, he believes incompetency + fear have led to where we are.

Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
Also relevant as it relates to COVID vaccine safety. Austin Walters has found some interesting statistics now that we have more vaccination data.

Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
It looks like Pfizer and CDC disagree on whether a booster shot is necessary. I wonder why that is?

Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
The disagreement between Pfizer and the CDC isn’t about whether a 3rd shot is necessary. Even the CDC concludes that boosters will eventually be necessary as is the case with virtually ever other vaccine.Ernie wrote: ↑Fri Jul 09, 2021 7:26 am It looks like Pfizer and CDC disagree on whether a booster shot is necessary. The disagreement is about how soon a booster will be necessary. Or how long the immunity provided by the vaccine lasts. Since the vaccines have only been available for 6 months or so, we have no idea who is right, and how long the current 2-shot immunity will last.
I expect we will eventually know the correct answer when we start to see an uptick in Covid cases among the previously vaccinated.
They might actually both be right. Pfizer might be right that a 3rd booster a year or so out confers additional immunity. And the CDC might be right in that we don’t currently have enough scientific information to make that determination.

Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
Every other vaccine already had such safety and efficacy dat. This one is a mystery.
And by the way Ken you are wrong - the CDC and FDA have said no “booster shot” is needed. They have not said “one will eventually be needed”.
Lots of other vaccines don’t need boosters. Did you go and get a smallpox booster shot?

Once again Josh, it turns out you are wrong: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nc ... oknow.htmlJosh wrote: ↑Fri Jul 09, 2021 11:09 am Every other vaccine already had such safety and efficacy dat. This one is a mystery.

The FDA and CDC joint statement you are referring to does not say that booster shots are not needed. It simply states that they are not needed AT THIS TIME which is only a couple months after the majority of Americans have gotten vaccinated. That is a pretty important qualifier. No one, not even Pfizer is saying that boosters are needed right now for vaccinated individuals who recently got shots. https://www.hhs.gov/about/news/2021/07/ ... sters.htmlWhat We Are Still Learning
* How well the vaccines protect people with weakened immune systems, including people who take medicines that suppress the immune system
* How long COVID-19 vaccines protect people
* How many people have to be vaccinated against COVID-19 before the population can be considered protected (population immunity)
* How effective the vaccines are against new variants of the virus that causes COVID-19
Americans who have been fully vaccinated do not need a booster shot at this time. FDA, CDC, and NIH are engaged in a science-based, rigorous process to consider whether or when a booster might be necessary. This process takes into account laboratory data, clinical trial data, and cohort data – which can include data from specific pharmaceutical companies, but does not rely on those data exclusively. We continue to review any new data as it becomes available and will keep the public informed. We are prepared for booster doses if and when the science demonstrates that they are needed.

“At this time”
Sure, in the future we might find out covid vaccines were never needed at all.

Follow the money... They will be "needed" And likely will be combo with your flu vaccine from what I'm seeing as well as the flu vaccine being developed with mRNA tech.
