Re: Bunny Trails
We have chipmunk highways. There is even a merge of two such paths from the woods that enter the "superhighway" of our row of blueberries that runs up to the exit leading to our bird feeder.

Re: Bunny Trails
Strangely to me, I haven't seen any chipmunks here in TN, and only a few squirrels. We live in the country with lots of trees...Wayne in Maine wrote: ↑Tue Jun 15, 2021 7:04 amWe have chipmunk highways. Re: Bunny Trails
Only one groundhog hole that I am aware of and it's down over the banking. I've only seen him once.

Re: Covid-19 Origina - what does science say?
Sorry again and in my encouragements for a more spiritual focus, I have wandered into control issues which I see is wrong. I do appreciate the work you guys do to maintain this site and the patience given to some of us.Robert wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 11:29 pmOJ did a good job of describing the difficulties of setting up so many limits. It is much easier for each to limit themselves. Personal/individual responsibility is also an Anabaptist trait.Sudsy wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 8:19 pm
Yes, OJ, you're right. I'll try to handle my disappointments better. I just think we can be a better light in this world if we truly practised separation of the church and state. I guess my understanding of this is quite different than some. Time for another break and think about the positives versus the negatives for being here.
Sorry.
I do not completely disagree with your perceptions. The challenge is how do we regulate and control everyone's posts? It becomes a real struggle to judge. It is hard enough to moderate the few times come report others for disrupting threads and such. Since this is a free site and no one is paid to moderate, I fear loading down the moderators with more burden would be unfair and cause burnout.
This means that there will be more freedom of posting, but the flip side is you are free to post on the topics and areas you enjoy. Please do so. I appreciate your comments and posts. I am not where you are or see things as you do, so it is very beneficial to me to hear them. I do not want echo chambers. I, and all of us, need to hear conflicting views. We are adults. We should be able to handle it.
One last thing on this thread, I encourage us all to think about the scripture that says what we like to talk about the most is the indicator of where our spiritual heart is focusing. Something to consider when we make up threads and how we respond to threads. Our words are 'give aways' to what grabs our interests as believers. And with this thought, as Max would end, YMMV.

I only saw one groundhog, once this year. Through the crosshairs of my “chuckster”. He did not see me.

Re: Bunny Trails
I shall say the same thing about the first snake I have seen on my property since we moved here. Mr 22 dispatched him nicely. About 4 feet long...thankfully not a rattler.Wayne in Maine wrote: ↑Tue Jun 15, 2021 3:24 pmI only saw one groundhog, once this year. Through the crosshairs of my “chuckster”. He did not see me.

A chuckster is a tool for preserving one's vegetables while they are growing in the garden.Grace wrote: ↑Wed Jun 16, 2021 7:10 amSorry about my naivete, but what is a "chuckster"?Wayne in Maine wrote: ↑Tue Jun 15, 2021 3:24 pmI only saw one groundhog, once this year.
