Jess77 wrote:Yes we should definitely be praying for this nation first and foremost. Yes our citizenship is in the Kingdom and the Kingdom should be our main focus. However, we cannot overlook that Paul, not once, but twice, used his Roman citizenship to advance the Kingdom. If all Christians do is pray and nothing else, they are missing out on the opportunity God has given us to insure Christians in this country continue to have the freedom to build the Kingdom. The underground Christians in China and the persecuted church of the Middle East who are being beheaded and exterminated for their faith do not have that freedom. Persecution will come to this nation eventually, but we do not need to unlock our doors and give it the key to our cars. That is exactly what happens when we do not use our God-given wisdom to vote to protect the church.
"All we do is pray"...?
I guess you don't believe in the power of prayer? Prayer is more powerful than any vote EVER was. :D
Prayer should be our first resource, not a last resort.
I think of this every time i read A. Lincoln’s famous quote:
“I have been driven many times upon my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had no where else to go.
My own wisdom and that of all about me seemed insufficient for that day.”
― Abraham Lincoln

How might his days have gone if he’d gone to the Lord FIRST, instead of as a last resort? :)

i’m glad to read of your virus experience, most of all, that you survived it! :D
looking forward to reading more from you now.

I can't watch videos at work. What's the bottom line?
He said basically everything I have been saying for the past year. Why else would I post it? 8-)

Of course it will be ignored and everyone will keep parroting the lies and distortions being spread.

Maybe if I spent more time reading your posts, I wouldn't have gotten the virus, eh?

If you were not taking Vitamin D and Zinc, often found in multivitamins, then you should have. :P

Praise the Lord you came through. Those that get a bad case are serious when they convey how bad they felt. Some are asymptomatic, some a few more minor symptoms, some like a long bad flu, some get long hospital stays, some don't make it. Several factors seem common to resist it, or be overcome. One common factor seemed to be those worse case/deaths were low in vitamin D. there's different strengths of supplements. Losing taste & smell senses i understand means being low on zinc. We took a "zinc" test- just to see. So much contributes to a healthy immune system (or not healthy) but that's why the risk factors/ages were published. Of course there's always exceptions. One thing I think was so terrible was causing the amount of fear and anxiety from the beginning. The emotions of fear and anxiety in themselves will lower your immune system, thereby making you more susceptible to viruses. Same with cancer, I read for years how it's important for people to deal with stress and anxiety because your immune system will be affected thereby making you more prone to cancer. Of course there's a lot of things that contribute to someone getting cancer but certainly causing such a great amount of fear and anxiety with the coronavirus only made people more susceptible emotionally hurting their immune system, making them less resistant if exposed

It got you and Claudia, and you’re both surviving - without hospitalization?! i hope.

This thing is not over.
i hope the current optimism continues without backsliding.

i “felt like” i may have been the last person to get Swine Flu, i think in July 2009, maybe 2010.
In summer! It was terrible. i wouldn’t let anyone come inside. my brother+his wife stopped for a visit. we talked through a door window. they dropped off OTC meds. i kept in touch with my doctor - they appreciated i stayed home.

2019 / The last pandemic was a ‘quiet killer.’ Ten years after swine flu, no one can predict the next one
https://www.statnews.com/2019/06/11/h1n ... ars-later/

With that memory .. i don’t look forward to being another late case of this virus. So far, so good.
i’m taking nothing for granted.

i am happy for the optimism about the healthy+under 50 crowd, tho. :D
This is a major step forward.

Robert’s video above is helpful. Dr Peter McCullough.

Thank you for sharing the video, i listened & its no secret i too from the beginning was leaning towards believing other doctors, microbiologists, nurses who made a great attempt at sharing "their" knowledge, protocols, & experience. Praying that the truth will come out- and WHY these other medical professionals were purposely censored, dismissed, discredited. When they were able to treat covid patients with the right products, and keep them from hospitalization, i really hope the investigations reveal the truth. I saw a video of Fauci from 2017 stating there will certainly be a pandemic during the Trump administration.

I agree that fear and anxiety can adversely affect our immune system. Scripture says don't be anxious about anything. This then would include all believers views on this pandemic whatever they may be. So why are Christians showing so much anxiety over how other Christians view this issue or any other issue ? Doesn't 'be anxious for nothing' and the peace of God will guard our thoughts from such things what we should pursue ? Philippians 4:6-8.
