Try 1 Corinthians 3:12.

Perfect. Or wait. That is saying that particular wood is not Christian. :-|

Do you think Paul was speaking literally or metaphorically in 1 Corinthians 3 when he talked about "laying a foundation?"

Do teachers spend time on Internet forums when they have no class? :P

According to dictionary.com literally doesn't necessarily mean the same as it did in years past. I don't think Paul was talking about physical lumber, but a very real foundation.

Since public-school teachers lobbied to continue their full pay but refused to work their jobs because they "feared for their lives" (apparently they're VERY afraid of their students), I'm sure they have a lot more free time during the work day than they used to.

Hard-working American families have been forced to go and find expensive child care so they can continue to work their jobs, since public-school teachers refuse to do theirs.

Here you are again Josh, going on about things you know nothing about. But I guess that is typical for you, making person attacks when you have nothing intelligent to add to the discussion. Not that it matters, but today I was subbing in-person for an ASL teacher who was out sick. The kids all had online assignments to do on their Chromebooks so I didn't have much to do after taking attendance. So plenty of time to browse the internet as all her classes were well behaved and there was nothing much for me to do except watch them work on their chromebooks.

The school I teach at has been fully open for months. Before that it was "hybrid" which was a LOT more work for teachers than ordinary in-person classroom teaching. I used to teach full time at a more rural district that was much further away and about a 40 min commute. But that got to be too much hassle and I was spending too much time away from home and family so I've mostly been doing long-term subbing for science classes at two districts much closer to home, mostly at the school where my kids attend. Once in a while like today I get non-science assignments.

Not sure why you took that personally or thought it was about you.

But since you did,

Sounds rather “inessential”, other than as a babysitting service.

Do the ASL students have to sign in to their chromebooks?

I expect you are making a pun. But they did actually. They had to record videos of themselves signing certain assigned sentences and turn them in online for grading by their regular teacher.
