SWAT Team Arrests Christian Pastor

Things that are not part of politics happening presently and how we approach or address it as Anabaptists.

There was a time when washing your hands before you ate, using soap and warm water, covering your mouth when you cough, brushing your teeth, etc., etc. was considered "worldly" also. It will always be that way with conservative people. The next generation reads about such things in their health books and they view it as helpful and normal hygiene.

So for you who all believe the COVID numbers (which the US authorities and I've also quoted the CDC have said they) were including deaths WITH COVID. - If my step grandmother who is now in a coma dies you would be in total agreement that if so she dies WITH the vaccine and therefore it can be accurately classified as a vaccine death.

Do you see at all how far in the ditch you are?
Sorry but I haven't been following the CDC deaths and the debates about that.
My reference point is people I know of who died from Covid, colleagues who are dealing with long term side effects, etc.

So why are you agreeing with posts or hearting posts from others that are doing that?

And why are you commenting in a thread about what is happening in Western Canada when your reference is to personal experience?

It seems to me that most people are relating their personal experience into each situation when clearly you in the US and even other parts of Canada haven't experienced anywhere near the discrimination in restrictions. I thought there might be an ounce of compassion toward people like Artur even if we disagree with his approach but instead it seems like many comments are judgemental and condemning - this is troubling to me when I consider the personal difficulty and turmoil in properly trying to relate to God, my family, and the church. My wife and children have seen people in the church very little for some time now. Not you Ernie but some people you are agreeing with on things are using strawman arguements accusing us of calling this persecution don't see what these these times of isolation do to people. We are tired of more people dying every month in BC from drug overdose and suicide than COVID - while bars, strip clubs, and casinos continue to make huge profits and stayed open( these people dying are our neighbors that we know and so should we care about them less?) As we relate to personal experience here I for one am completely stuck in choosing each week between obeying God or obeying government, being with the church or being with my family, viewing things in the light of eternity or focusing on the temporal, taking responsibility or avoiding it.

Sorry I struggle in understanding the lack of compassion towards the suicidal, the addicts, the struggling, the mentally ill, the isolated, the oppressed, the aborted and people living with those choices, and how the unbalanced view on restrictions here that deem God and the church as not important and should be shut down while many temporal vain and even destructive activities are encouraged. By all the kickback here I get the overwhelming impression that obeying government and supporting unethical vaccines are much more important than all these things. It's heart breaking...

I "heart" posts that I agree with, regardless of whether I agree with other things a person says about the same topic, or whether I agree with their general worldview.

I've tried to make it clear that I am not in favor of lock downs, isolation, and other extreme measures by governments. My wife is Canadian and we've been wanting to travel to Canada now for a year and have not been able to do so, so these extreme measures do affect us and our relatives also.

I didn't think about the problem of posting in this thread about western Canada so I will discontinue doing so.

Or Eastern Canada.

Our church is being forced out of Quebec because they are going after our church school hardcore. There isn’t really any option left except moving to another province. The local townspeople want us to stay but ultimately Canada has top down provincial level policing.

This is the only French speaking plain/conservative church with native French speaking members and ministers and the school switched to French instruction too. Now the converts there will be forced to leave their homeland.

Here is an interesting interview by Fox News with Pastor Artur:

As the Pastor said, the truth does not fear a lie, only the lies fear the truth.

This is an information war, and the dam is about to break.

Ontario, Canada ^^

For most of my life, pastors, priests, rabbis, have been reliable respected resources for police and courts, helping in many cases and situations, in countries all over the world.

Even before this pandemic, changes were happening, putting Christians at disadvantage in various rulings.
The pandemic is magnifying the changes.

Wow! Thanks for the video. Looks like a good group of plain people. Yes, it is a war with Satan.

Here is the church service they held today - outdoors of course:

You can't hold a good church down.
