I don't ever recall that having basic human freedoms was contingent on first submitting to an experimental vaccine which is so dangerous the manufacturer is excused from any legal liabilty for death or injury.Szdfan wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 7:14 pm According to the
transcript, Gottlieb states that the ability to lift mask mandates also depends on the amount of people who have been vaccinated. Go get vaccinated.

Then possibly come back. The high school I work for had an outbreak with 33 cases after prom. Their football team was supposed to go to state playoffs for the first time in decades, but had to drop out. Last Thursday, a fifth grader went on a field trip after her brother tested positive. She was pulled off the bus and also tested positive. Now the fifth grade is quarantined and on remote learning.ohio jones wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 8:23 pmContinues to? We don’t live in sealed bubbles. One of my colleagues is immune compromised and can’t get vaccinated. Cases are starting to inch back up. Vaccines are the best bet on reaching herd immunity and get back to something resembling normal. However, it seems that the vaccination rate seems to be tapering off.

Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
That is not my only choices. I seldom to never get the flu or a cold. A cold is a coronavirus. I seem to be very resistant to virii. My immune system seems to work very well. I have been exposed to colds and flu for years and never catch them. Everyone around me does, but I do not.
I also take daily vitamins and try to eat a very low sugar and sodium diet. Maybe what I do every day makes me resistant while everyone else is lazy, eats poorly and has to depend on an unapproved vaccine. I do not.
I do not get flu shots for the same reason why I will not get the Covid shot. My immune system works really good and I don't want to mess it up with an unapproved or approved vaccine that I do not need.
So leave your judgmental attitudes and words to someone else. I could judge both of you for your lifestyles, but I do not.

It’s not just about you, though. It’s also about protecting those who aren’t healthy — who may have comorbidities or compromised immune systems, like my friend who is unable to get the vaccine.

Re: Coronavirus Outbreak
The best vaccine there is because of the horrible things in these non FDA approved shots, is to build up one's immune system naturally. For example they have found that most of the people that had serious reaction to covid are also deficient in vitamin d. I never get the flu shot and I never get the flu I don't think you need to push people to get vaccines if they know the best way to take care of their God created immune system. If they happen to then catch covid they probably won't get a bad reaction to it.Robert wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 9:26 pmThat is not my only choices. I seldom to never get the flu or a cold. I have very strong feelings as to why I don't think a Christian should take the shot, FDA approved or not, and I don't appreciate people laying a guilt trip on us for our position I'm going with the Amish on this one.
The FDA approves a lot of medications that are very harmful to people and I've witnessed that far too much. There are many medications that should be pulled off the market because of the harm they have created in people and they still continue to prescribe them- you can read all about it and why they don't pull them when a large population has lifelong disability from their reactions is a travesty

If you're not sick, you're not a threat. They've already said that asymptomatic people are not a cause of spread. My husband has a compromised immune system because of his transplant meds-he has no fear he's been out in the public alot- and we take care of his health naturally he never gets sick anymore( its been several years since even a cold or seasonal allergies)Szdfan wrote: ↑Mon May 10, 2021 10:20 pmI’m glad you’re healthy. For people who do catch covid they need to find the right doctor within 3 to 5 days if they have a bad case of it which most people do not.
You know what really compromises your immune system? Anxiety, stress, fear, that's been proven with cancer. It's a known fact that these emotions will lower your immune system so what do we do we scare the whole world to death and put them in a very stressful anxiety situation and automatically immune systems do not function as they should. We drive down to Amish country and there's a great big sign that says "Faith over Fear" I like that

Plenty of world class and professional athletes in the prime of their life, in peak condition and with meticulously curated diets have come down with Covid. It doesn’t spare the healthy and fit. And the newer variants are becoming more and more contagious. I expect it will be increasingly difficult to live a normal life and avoid exposure. Especially if one lives in a community with a lot of vaccine opponents. Some day you’ll get exposed. In the grocery store, at church, at a social event. It is virtually inevitable. If not this year then 2022. And if not 2022, then 2023. Covid is not going anywhere. We live in a global world and this disease is likely to be endemic for the remainder of our lifetimes.
Saying you are going to live your life without exposure to Covid is like saying you are going to live your life without ever catching a cold. Maybe you will get lucky, but I doubt it. At least not if you are living in society. There is no judgement involved. Just an assessment of reality.

Good luck with an unapproved injection that they have no idea of the long term consequences of a totally new nRNA injection.
I guess you did not read well. That is exactly what I said. I do not get colds. It has been 5-10 years since I have had a cold or the flu. Maybe longer. My family has had them and I have not.
So I hope you do not grow another arm or develop some unknown side effects of an unapproved vaccine. If there was a greater risk, I would take it. The risk is so small, I see no need. My body. My choice.
