What do you do with righteous anger?
What do you do when you know that thousands upon thousands of lives could have been prevented from death but a power was in place to keep that from happening.
Apart from the Gospel of Jesus Christ, this is probably one of the most important messages I've ever watched or listened to--this is the doctor who recently won the Nobel Peace prize for his treatment of covid-19 and now the world is paying attention but it's too late for those lives that could have been saved

The reaction of much of politics and other powerful groups (like large corporations) to a simple disease that is basically a cold or a flu is to amass lots of control for themselves and try to enlarge their own wealth.Valerie wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 6:16 am What do you do with righteous anger?

Jesus spoke about wealth at length in the gospels. As far as diseases and pestilences, we are taught these will always be with us; mankind’s attempt to overcome death & disease apart from Jesus is ultimately futile.

He did not win the Nobel Peace Prize. The 2020 winner was the World Food Program. There were threads about it here. The 2021 winner has not yet been announced.Valerie wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 6:16 am What do you do with righteous anger?

Why would the government place arrests against the people who are helping give them more power in the first place?Valerie wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 7:11 pmI apologize- he was nominated and for good reason.Ken wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 4:48 pmHe did not win the Nobel Peace Prize. True, but I am hoping that Bill Gate has higher motives, namely eugenics. When God killed most of humanity at the time of Noah, He undoubtedly did the right thing because humanity was a hopeless mess. I see the same situation today where the vast majority of humanity is hopelessly stupid and evil. A slow-acting deadly vaccine would be the ideal eugenics tool to remove these people from the gene pool. Bill Gates's family has a long history in the eugenics movement and I think Bill Gates has the intelligence and ruthlessness to execute on such a plan. This makes me optimistic for the first time in a long time.

On the basis of a Youtube video? Seriously? Should we all head out to the streets with clubs and torches?
Just exactly how much government overreach do you want? Who exactly should be arrested, and for what crimes? Based on what carefully verified facts?
To me, righteous anger requires some way of determining what is true. Perhaps an investigation of anything for which there is sufficient evidence to show probable cause is the first step. The "righteous" half of it starts with understanding that the world around us seems to want us all up in arms via partisan anger, and most of this is not based in reality.
Right now, some people still think Covid is no worse than a cold, others think Trump is to blame for Covid (I don't), others want to blame it on Biden (nah), some people are sure there's some really simple cure that "they" don't want us to have, others think that what we need are vaccinations, six feet of fresh air, and masks. Some of this is right, some of this is wrong, and you can't know where to place your anger if you don't know the facts.

Optimistic that humanity will become tolerable again, like Americans were a few decades ago.

Re: Righteous Anger & Covid 19
One good way to start fact-checking something like this is to Google "fact check Zev Zelenko".
Some reason to be skeptical of Vladimir "Zev" Zelenko:
Jewish MD who promoted virus cocktail is leaving community where he tested it
He had to leave the Orthodox community where he had practiced medicine because of this Covid stuff. Not a great sign of confidence. His religious community wrote an open letter that said this:

He had to leave the Orthodox community where he had practiced medicine because of this Covid stuff. Not a great sign of confidence. His religious community wrote an open letter that said this:
Doctor Who Promoted Malarial Drug Draws Scrutiny of Federal ProsectorsWe the undersigned institutions strongly believe that the predictions presented by Dr. Zelenko have been proven false and are not supported by the overall medical establishment, specifically in his wild conclusions as to the spread of the virus in our community.
Misleading claims resurface online about hydroxychloroquine's efficacy against COVID-19A federal prosecutor has opened a preliminary inquiry into whether an obscure New York doctor who won White House attention by claiming he could treat the coronavirus broke the law by falsely claiming that a hospital study of drugs he had promoted had won federal approval.
The doctor, Vladimir Zelenko, wrongly claimed that the Food and Drug Administration had backed a study of a drug cocktail that he asserts is effective in treating Covid-19, the disease caused by the virus. Through a misdirected email, that claim came to the attention of Aaron Zelinsky, a federal prosecutor in Baltimore working on fraud cases arising out of the pandemic.
Dr. Zelenko, known as Zev, had claimed the study had the F.D.A.’s approval to Jerome Corsi, a conservative commentator who figured in the special counsel’s investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election. Mr. Corsi then repeated that claim in an email he mistakenly directed to Mr. Zelinsky instead of to the physician, he said in a podcast this week.
The Zelenko footage emerged a day after he published an open letter asserting the same to US President Donald Trump.
But Zelenko did not provide any evidence to support his claims, and reportedly sparked the interest of federal investigators after an email gaffe by a conservative commentator in which he claimed the doctor had “an FDA approved randomized test of HCQ underway” -- which was not true.
