Me too. Beyond that, infections in other countries will generally make their way here. And the more people we have out there with Covid, the more mutations that will eventually find their way here. So helping the rest of the world is actually in our self-interest.

Looking at India, I think it's safe to say the threat from Covid is real.

Correct. The baby cells were used to: 1 test and 2 produce the DNA. the second is only relevant to Moderna. The DNA is replicated in Ecoli and collected.
Basically its using the coding for the fetal cells. Very similar to epogen and procrit.

Which is basically the same thing. Without killing babies, these vaccines wouldn’t exist.

I don’t plan to save my own life by relying on killing babies, and don’t think it’s somehow “ethical” to do so.

One could as well claim the rest of the world should help the U.S. out of their own self interest.

Most U.S. “help” consist of toppling popularly elected governments (like in Afghanistan), dropping bombs, and then imposing Western cultural standards that the local people don’t want, like mandatory LGBT promotion/acceptance.

Of course, it’s nearly impossible for smug Americans to think there is any possibility their lifestyles and beliefs are not perfect and that there is any reasonable way the rest of the world would not want to conform to them. Perhaps people in Africa don’t even care about or want this vaccine; there are much more dangerous diseases plaguing them covid, which would be worthy of more attention.

Actually, they could still exist, it might take longer to create, but we have traditional methods that don't depend on killing babies to produce them. I for one, completely agree to not save my life base on any medicine based in fetal research requiring killing the baby.

Yeah - I’m saying the specific Pfizer, Moderna etc vaccines wouldn’t exist without this.

It looks like Novavax is now approved in Canada for emergency use.

I hope USA will soon follow suit.
