Where do you get your idea that the "sexuality" of an employee is of no business to the employer?

Over in the CAM thread, it's become quite apparent that, actually, the sexuality of one's employees is very important to understand and monitor.
Gay folks are no more likely to commit abuse than straight folks: https://psychology.ucdavis.edu/rainbow/ ... ation.html
Biased, fake research. Nobody's gonna publish any research nowadays showing the truth (sexual abuse goes along with deviant sexuality).
Most of the child molesters in the CA churches are, in fact, straight and many are married. So in terms of percentages, it is probably the married straight men who merit the most monitoring.
I don't think we need to talk about "gay" and "straight", but rather draw this distinction:

- Proper sexuality is between a man and a woman, in marriage, or leading up to marriage.
- Anything else is perverse.

I'm not sure if one can even figure if H. Herr is gay or straight (animals were involved), but that was a pretty perverse situation. His sexuality was most certainly his employer's business.

Likewise, J. Mast, I'm not sure if "gay" or "straight" are useful terms, although his victims were young males - but his sexuality there was also absolutely something his employer should have been aware of and looking into.
Is there more than one Harold Herr? When I google the name the results that come up are for the guy who was arrested in 2013 in Lancaster for kidnapping a 5 year old girl: https://www.pennlive.com/midstate/2013/ ... _gu_1.html I'm not up on the CAM circles over there on the other side of the country so I don't know who any of these people are except as names mentioned here.

In any event, pedophiles are a different category from gay or straight. They are generally obsessed with prepubescent children male or female. Except that for most male pedophiles, it is far easier to find access to male victims because men are rarely put in charge of girls without supervision but often put in charge of boys (scouting, coaching etc.) as was the case with J. Mast. He was put in charge of male orphans but not female ones.

I hope there aren't any engaged couples reading this.

If it’s accepted that rape is about VIOLENCE and POWER, not sex, not fornication, not adultery, certainly not any definition love, then the emphasis is on CARNAL VIOLENT PERVERSION.

In cases of children, teens, the defenseless, there can be no “consent.”
whether they scream+fight or comply, even if they “enjoy” it, it’s still about spiritual violence and abuse of power.

Perversion that goes beyond labels of homosexual and/or straight.
Rape of the defenseless is added sin, serial rape is added sin; abuse by those in authority is added sin.

Claim to be straight would be more accurate with many of these male on male predator's ..

Certainly it’s now common knowledge conventional marriage has been frequently used for valuable social currency.
Even JMast used it. Not unusual.

There is, and that's actually a different guy.

Mast's victims were not "prebuscent", he preyed on teenage boys - which is the same thing most homosexual predators do.

you’ve got to hand it to him, he’s got his memorized talking points down.
it’s as tho he imagines folks on this forum somehow escape the world’s hammering away, rather than the reality,
the hammering is recognized and rejected - for thoughtful, considered reasons. for Jesus Christ.

prayers for eyes to be opened ..

It's called bundling I think in some CA circles

It wasn't just the CA's that did that... It seems to have been a semi wide practice at one point but one which I would call distinctly unchristian.

Although, in practice, not that much different from many other dating & courtship practices amongst Christians, considering the rate of illegitimate births amongst Christians isn't much better than the rest of society.

Fact of 21st Century western life.
Hopefully folks will keep their old books. No matter topic. Nothing like them will be printed again.

Somewhat off topic I guess, but my wife had never met any Christian (pre-converting to Anabaptist) who actually refrained prior to marriage. She waited, and so did I. Among the CM's it seems to be normal comparably.
