I've never shown an ID for any vaccine. I have given my name and DOB and wrote my address down on the form. Sometimes if they are sophisticated then can scan the barcode on your ID and automatically retrieve the information that way. So they might ask for a drivers license for that purpose. But that just avoids having to type it in manually.
I will show them no ID or give them a name. I remember someone else who was silent in front of the government demanding answers. I tell them I do not want to be identified and see where that goes. I will not lie. If they demand a name, I will say, "Jesus Follower." If they do not like that, I will give them the Spanish pronunciation of Jesus.
If I still get my vaccine, I will admit you are correct. If I am refused, then you are not correct. My future is in your hands.

Daily new Covid cases are now at a number that is higher than both the first and second waves of the virus, and are still slowly increasing. Eventually this may have to be described as a fourth wave.
Daily new deaths are still on the decrease. It's been 4 weeks since the increase in cases began, so now is about the time you would begin to see deaths increase based on the past history of the virus. If that doesn't occur this round, it is likely that the vaccination of the most vulnerable populations is showing its effectiveness in my opinion.
We are seeing an increase here in Maine too. People are letting down their guard. One of the staff at my wife’s facility tested positive and exposed 5 other CNAs who had refused to get vaccinated. Of course they are expecting to get quarantine leave from work (a 10 day vacation), but that would leave no one to work on several shifts. I was hoping for a move towards the old normal soon but it does not look good in spite of the availability of vaccines.

Increase of cases with a decrease of deaths is a good thing. Means those NOT vulnerable are being exposed, getting immune and going on, as we should have done 6-8 months ago.
Most he vulnerable have been vaccinated. If this wave is let alone, we will have herd immunity.

I don't think there is much will by governments to ratchet up the restrictions again, such as shutting down schools and businesses or limiting gatherings, so if that's what you mean by letting the wave alone, my guess is that is what will happen.

In certain states (like Michigan and Minnesota) it already is a fourth wave. Even more so if you look at the global picture, where places like Brazil (with its Covid-denying tough-guy president) and eastern Europe are being rocked by the variants. The good news, as Robert noted, is that death rates are not rising as fast as case rates in places where the vaccine has been targeted toward seniors. This spread should eventually contribute to a lower national infection rate as more people recover and develop immunity - but this immunity will come at a much higher societal cost medically and in terms of lives lost than achieving immunity via the vaccine.
It’s also better to have natural immunity across the population instead of vaccines, because then there is a wide range of protection of all the countless mutations/variants of the virus. Which is better than everyone simply having the same few vaccines, which conceivably could be rendered useless by a variant.

I wonder if that's true RZehr. If a variant outmaneuvers a vaccine, might it also outmaneuver natural immunity? Isn't this what happens with the annual flu cycle?

They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.Rev 16:9
Somehow we get the idea that everything that is not pleasant or favourable to us is not of God.
As I view this worldwide pandemic, I wonder if God did not send this to cause mankind to call out to him. Instead, we masked up, quarantined, closed down businesses etc. We also frantically worked to develop a vaccine that was supposed to be the ultimate answer to the plague. Man was hoping to get this stopped so he could shake his fist in the face of God, in essence saying "We beat you on this one". Could it be that God is allowing (causing) mutations that are not stopped by the vaccine in hopes that man will finally call out to him? I don't know. Just something that has been on my mind.
Don't get me wrong, I think it is prudent to use common sense and precautions in the face of something like this, but I think too many folks are misplacing their trust.

There is no virus against which humans have ever developed natural herd immunity. None.
The only viral diseases that have ever been eradicated or driven back to trace background noise (like today with measles) were beaten by vaccines not natural immunity.
The path you are suggesting is one of endless pandemic. Such as was the case with smallpox which lasted for centuries upon centuries until finally eradicated with a vaccine.
