I'm also sorry to say that I never met him in person. I probably didn't have all of the same opinions, but I always enjoyed reading his comments, and it was also kind of a connection with my home state (Oklahoma), even though he grew up elsewhere before moving there (PA, I think).

(For once I can't type much - I've got carpal tunnel bad right now - typing w/ 2 fingers.)

Thank you for this.

I wonder what chair shop he worked at here in Pennsylvania? We may have crossed paths...

I haven't sent a card in years. This gives me reason to break that trend. I figured he was about the same age as me, and I see he had children about the same age as mine.

This keeps weighing heavy on my heart. I felt kind of a kindred spirit with Dr WoJo I knew him to be a very caring person. It hurts to know that he was going through something that we were unaware of and could have been praying not that he didn't have a community of people that were praying.

It made me thankful that Wayne in Maine is sharing his journey.

Not sure why I am struggling to accept this

you are not alone. i don’t know a thing about it, but it hurts to think he may have been so close, yet so far. we are to encourage one another.
John 16:22-24
22 So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.

23 In that day you will no longer ask Me anything.
Truly, truly, I tell you, whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you.

24Until now you have not asked for anything in My name.
Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.…

This was on my mind this past weekend as well. The MN family might fight like cats and dogs (sometimes) but I often sense a bond here, too. I saw Wojo's obituary on FB and it appears he has some relation that is connected with my wife and I.

allowing folks to have opinions, which this forum is pretty good at, should not result in fighting like cats+dogs.
i did not read all of DrWojo’s posts, but i was glad his opinion was allowed. this is a time to think of that.
he made me think+wonder about things in different ways.
