Easter Sunday zoom family gathering
later today, my granddaughter and some family will gather on zoom to share Easter reading, blessings and fun.
we did this at Christmas. it went very well. her younger cousins through grandparents enjoyed it.

It was another lovely time. For long-distance gathering.
Washington, So Cal, Michigan, Tennessee, Illinois, New York City. :)

My grdaughter leads, she does a nice job. She began with a few riddles as folks gathered, then read John 20:1-9;
moved along to an abbreviated game of Scattergories. Everyone laughed and chatted. About one hour, then said farewells until next time. She has a lot of composure for these things. I was painfully shy. (She was in Catholic school, K-3rd grade, they had the children reading out loud to groups from early.) She’s at ease with it. She has a nice speaking voice.

It was a new experiment at Christmas. It went well, everyone wanted more. Today was just as nice. :)
An Easter blessing across miles+miles.

Tonight we got a new dog that I accidentally let out of the house while we were dealing with a skunk in the chicken pen and of course the dog ran into the pen with the skunk, but fortunately nobody got sprayed, however, as my wife informed me afterwards, I’m still an idiot.

Today our three baby ducks went for a swim for the first time.

And, it has been nearly six months that I made a new friend and I am very thankful for that. I look forward to her email everyday. :D

My peach trees are also in full bloom.

We spread 20 tons of gravel today. Okay, the dump truck spread most of it and the small tractor spread the rest. I did shovel a little, but I paid for all that. I should get some perks.

New driveway, well resurfaced driveway looks great!!

Something stupid rotated the picture, but am too lazy to fix it. Just turn your head. :lol:

Today we picked 6 cups of violet blossoms to make violet jelly.

Our son got his strawberry plants planted in their bed. Two of them have blossoms on already.

Our mama cat has 3 baby kittens.
