I'd have to see the study, but if it was on cells... I wouldn't place much stock in it.

There have been some studies suggesting long lasting immunity from the vaccine or naturally acquired but this disease hasn't even been around long enough for us to really know one way or another.

And to bring up smallpox was just silly... They had to go around every 7-10 years and revaccinate communities against smallpox due to waning protection.

The CDC began the pandemic operating on the assumption that the coronavirus transmits the way the flu does, he notes, and they never quite abandoned that assumption despite the data to the contrary gathered over the past 12 months. Six feet of distance and frequent hand-washing makes sense when you have a virus that’s borne by large droplets. Those are more likely to end up deposited on surfaces than they are to be inhaled, particularly if you’re keeping some space between yourself and the infected person. For a virus that’s borne by aerosols, distance becomes less important. Aerosols can travel beyond six feet and may linger in the air; masking is more important than hand-washing when facing a threat like that.

He is talking high quality masks which are N95, not surgical or cloth masks.

I think this is the Shane Crotty study that Rand Paul was talking about. I don't know enough about medicine and science to make heads or tails of it but I assume you'll probably know what it's talking about.

I bet many states (like California and NY) will still be mandating 6 foot distancing, and forcing restaurants to run at 25% capacity etc., many years from now. They do not care about science.

Interesting how they can expect a business to run at 25% capacity, yet expect small business owners to continue to pay 100% of taxes. I have not seen anything from the IRS letting me know my taxes are “capacity limited”.

Nor have government bureaucrats who enforce these harsh measures seen their paychecks reduced to 25%. Only the small business owner gets to pay for all this.
