It would be worthwhile for some to reach out to folks at Muddy Creek to ask them what happened. Personally, I have a hard time understanding how a Charity type group accepts someone who’s been expelled from two churches already without checking in to what’s going on, and instead installs them to mission work.
Close. In actuality:
Dismissed by Eastern from position as school principal.
Restricted by Hope Fellowship from filling pastoral role (or at least preaching) at Muddy Creek.
Never excommunicated. Freely bobbed & weaved from one denomination to another.

Muddy Creek still proclaims proudly on their website that he helped start the church. Maybe they should have a disclaimer if they don't support him

Is there ever going to be a real investigation? Or will it always be the church sweeping under the rug?
Nothing ever happens. When the CAM news broke, I thought maybe now..... but no. . .
It is definitely curious how a person—
1) clearly admits they married a “crazy woman” but believes they have the discernment required for being a missionary.
2) professes love for the foreigner but does nothing for the emotional welfare of the offspring, allegedly ruined by the crazy wife—or secure supports for the wife versus framing/blaming her.
Equally astonishing is the fact that churches & organizations such as Charity & CAM who tout headship and emphasize family values didn’t require HH to be accountable in these departments. Instead they reinforced the framing/blaming of the late ex and and enabled predatory patterns!

I had Harold Herr as a teacher at Paradise Mennonite School( Washington Co conference) in the 60's. In fact he was one of the first teachers there when the school started. I more or less lost track of him until recent years.

Was born while my family attended the church running the school. Know of at least 3 denominations attended prior and 4 afterward.
