Until both Google and Apple removed it from their stores. It’s no longer possible to download the app from either source.

Without website hosting — which Parler was using Amazon AWS for — the website will go offline tomorrow until they can find another host or build the capacity to host themselves.

Hello GC! I signed up for Parler too. Unfortunately, some people think AWS will ban Parler sooner rather than later.
And Amazon just kicked them off.

Amazon on Saturday kicked Parler off its Web hosting services. Parler, a social network favored by conservative politicians and extremists, was used to help plan and coordinate the January 6 attempted coup on Washington D.C. It has recently been overrun with messages encouraging “Patriots” to march on Washington D.C. with weapons on January 19.
It's really no big surprise. AWS sent them a letter about "meeting their standards" a few days ago. It's been in the news.

Further in to the dark net I suppose becoming more isolated and unreachable.
Signal was reportedly popularized in the United States during the George Floyd protests. As U.S. protests gained momentum, on June 3, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey tweeted a recommendation for users to download Signal Messenger.[70] Heightened awareness of police monitoring led protesters to use the app to communicate. Black Lives Matter organizers had used the app "for several years".[71][44] During the first week of June, the encrypted messaging app was downloaded over five times more than it had been during the week prior to the death of George Floyd.[71] In June 2020, Signal Foundation announced a new feature that enables users to blur faces in photos, in response to increased federal efforts to monitor protesters.[44][72]

On January 7, 2021, Signal saw a surge in new user registrations, which temporarily overwhelmed Signal's capacity to deliver account verification messages, causing message delays. MacRumors linked the surge with WhatsApp Privacy Policy change and Signal endorsement by Elon Musk and Edward Snowden via Twitter.[73]
Interesting stuff on one of the apps being promoted

I can understand why Amazon might not want its hosting services used to plan another assault on the Capitol, which Parler is being used for.

No of course not, I would rate that around maybe slightly better then 4chan.

But if Parler goes off due to hosting issues...

Then they go off due to hosting issues. Unless you have a crystal ball you should probably just stop right there.

you have to accept that as fact.
from sources that are in competition with Parler, and other sites.

lots of people aren’t willing to jump in on all that. not much in life is that cut+dried.
