Not this time, that is the address via the message i received. It came through Facebook messenger from my former pastor. But you could click on the YouTube of it and that is the address I looked it over to compare several times just to make sure there wasn't something off but that that is the correct YouTube addressohio jones wrote:Another unedited speech-to-text?Bootstrap wrote:I couldn't view the video.Valerie wrote:Real people, real witnesses. i enjoy searching for intent over form. i appreciate form! but intent is much much more important to Jesus, and, i believe, to most on this forum.
i’m not good at it. esp not like oj. but i do enjoy making the effort.
Frankly, Valerie, i’ve found your recent posts uniquely enjoyable, i’m ok if they continue as they have been. Compared to a great deal of more correctly composed “worthless” now found here, attempting to decipher godly intent is time better spent.Valerie wrote:Y'all are having way to much fun do to my acceptionally pour posting. We weren't poking fun at Valerie, anyway. We were making fun of our own mistakes, at least I was. After making note of the common its/it's confusion years ago, I discovered that I had fallen into the error myself on a post recently. We all goof.

Re: How to discredit elections and raise distrust in government...
You'd probably find it light-hearted to know that there are some young men and women that are extremely informed about the details of all this more than most adults that I know and are hoping and praying that President Trump gets another 4 years. There's another group of young people that the mayor of Portland is finally tired of all the rioting so you will have two extremes of young people showing where they are putting their hope and trust right now as far as who will run this country

Re: How to discredit elections and raise distrust in government...
Ive been so impressed with the "young people" who are aware & informed enough to see the Left as corrupt, believe me, they are paying close attention. Not all are rioting & destroying property. Not all are sitting in front of entertsinment tv, video games, or wasting time, im impressed with some young people lately, who really care. I feel sorry for what they see-

Journal: 40 Day Countdown ..
DAY 1: Forum Politics Sabbatical
Please add notes about the journey ..

Dan Z wrote:MennoNet, as a discussion forum, exists as a place of engagement, enlightenment, education, and edification for Anabaptist and Anabaptist-interested folks.
Recently, board owner Robert, has become increasingly concerned that the Politics forum of MennoNet has become a dominant place of partisan rancor, often a source of "heat rather than light," ultimately throwing the whole board out of balance and detracting from the mission of the site. After consulting with some of the other Moderators, it was decided that the Politics forum will be archived for approx. 40 days (beginning 1/8) as type of "Politics Sabbatical," with the hope of giving us all a break and allowing attitudes and relationships to reset within MennoNet.
We ask that during this period MennoNet members refrain from launching any topics that are overtly political in nature. Politics may enter secondarily into other discussions (e.g. Faith or Current Events) but the moderators reserve the right to lock any topic that becomes overtly political in nature.
Our hope is that this is a positive step for the board community, and we ask that you each take it as an opportunity to reset your own relationships and attitudes toward your brothers and sisters in Christ.

it’s ok to hate it and ignore.
no problem.
it’s interesting to witness a bit of awkward beginning. this is only Day 2.
old habits die hard.
i hope old habits just don’t turn into passive-aggressive replacement, instead of authentic effort to improve. which i believe is the good spirit behind the imposed sabbatical.
i’m beginning with doubt i’ll post anywhere-near 40 times.
.. also with the hope the topic of the sabbatical will just naturally fade away.
that politics do not vanish, but also, that better self control, moderation, and grace will prevail.
