I worked with a guy that was gray by age 30. He tried to hide it by always wearing a ballcap.

That might result in people suspecting something else going on with his hair, or lack thereof.

But if he is deliberately concealing his hair color (or lack thereof), is that lying??

Well, he'd better take that hat off when he goes to worship, pray, or prophesy.

Well, since no one has mentioned 1 Tim. 2:9-10 or 1 Pet. 3:3 yet....

That's me pointing to them in my avatar.... --->

I wouldn’t keep a girl like that from dying her hair. I’d compare that with a girl who lost her hair permanently. This girl got a wig.
Or a girl with a obvious scar using makeup to make it less noticeable.

These things are not born out of vanity but a desire for modesty.

I think your version of modesty is a bit different then my own.
The girl with a missing tooth getting an implant, a woman who is to big up top getting a reduction, tummy tuck, whitening teeth, braces to correct cosmetic things. Do these things differ much from using makeup for a scar or dying hair? (I'm not making a claim that the girl shouldn't have dyed her hair)

Well, I wouldn’t necessarily promote it, but I think I’d set aside my Judgeometer on a 12 year old girl and engage my Pityometer.

Oh, you misunderstood me. My judgeometer was set on maximum for you. The girl needed ice cream.
