“State Of The Union Will Just Be 90-Minute Broadcast Of Dumpster Engulfed In Flames”

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The White House has announced President Joe Biden will be skipping out on this year's State of the Union address, which will instead feature a 90-minute broadcast of a dumpster engulfed in flames. Both houses of congress are expected to assemble as usual as the raging dumpster fire roars into a microphone.

House Sergeant at Arms William J. Walker will light the dumpster at the commencement of the address. Members of Congress are then expected to applaud in a partisan manner as the cathartic flames burn brightly into the night.

According to sources, this is the first act of Biden's presidency to receive genuine bipartisan support.
Congressional Democrats feel the move to a dumpster fire is fitting given that the president can't string two sentences together, and Republicans are planning to boo anything anyway.

"We don't expect much difference in this year's State of the Union compared to previous years," explained Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
 "No one's going to watch it and then political pundits will read way too much into it as usual."

NBC reporter Peter Alexander asked, "Isn't this just a waste of everyone's time?"

Psaki was unable to hide her displeasure with the question.
"The president feels, and I agree, that the people are ready for some honest answers. We feel that a flaming pile of garbage best articulates what the president is trying to convey at this point in time."

The State of the Union will be broadcast on March 1st at 9 PM EST on C-Span.
Experts believe it may become one of the highest-rated State of the Union addresses ever as viewers tune in to see if the fire will get out of control and burn down the Capitol building.

I could but I'll let it speak for itself.

Regarding Anderson and his statement to the affect that homosexuals should all be stoned to death would not get any respect from me. I doubt he and Jesus would not get along. Good thing Canada and many other countries have banned him from entry.

I guess I used a double negative in this previous post and need to change the word 'doubt' to 'surmise'.

Romans 13 is a central part of Christianity:
Do not owe anyone anything—except to love one another. For the one who loves another has fulfilled the Law. For the commandments, “You must not commit adultery; you must not murder; you must not steal; you must not covet,” and every other commandment are summed up in this statement: “You must love your neighbor as yourself.” Love never does anything that is harmful to its neighbor. Therefore, love is the fulfillment of the Law.

This is necessary because you know the times—it’s already time for you to wake up from sleep, because our salvation is nearer now than when we became believers. The night is almost over, and the day is near. Let’s therefore put aside the actions of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let’s behave decently, as people who live in the light of day. No wild parties, drunkenness, sexual immorality, promiscuity, quarreling, or jealousy! Instead, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus, the Messiah, and do not obey your flesh and its desires.

Oh wow. We have neighbors who would call the cops if we shot a "chuckster". We did get bombs from the local hardware store, which are put into the holes. However when I was closing the hole up with dirt after putting the bomb in, I could hear the baby groundhogs crying as they were being gassed down in the hole. I felt so cruel and decided never to do that again. One thing I did learn is that groundhogs hate used cat litter. And we have a cat in the house. So the solution is to dump the used kitty litter in the holes. Excellent deterrent. But I suspect they just find a new location on the neighbor's property.

For years we lived next to a forest preserve, the trees in our back yard were wonderful everyday.
The squirrels were evil. They drove my mind to dark places.

Their worst sin was commandeering our loved bird feeders.
i attempted numerous deterrents, including covering one metal pole with Vaseline. Temporary inconvenience, at best.

.. A 2006 profile of Patriarch Kirill in Forbes noted that he, like Putin, is a former KGB agent and built some of his personal fortune through official rights that the church received to import alcohol and tobacco. They estimated his personal wealth at $4 BILLION back in 2006. Who knows what he is worth today but one expects he is still swimming in gold. https://www.forbes.com/2009/02/20/putin ... hurch.html
The WaPo report has a paywall.

i think i vaguely remember the 2009 Forbes report, or similar, at the time.
of course it seems extraordinary to us in the West, esp in the U.S., with early roots in Puritans, followed by numbers of other Protestant and Anabaptist believers, mostly seeking freedom from Catholicism, but other oppressors, as well. The U.S. remains a young and often naive gov and cultural experiment.

2009 was a stressful time in the U.S. and the world, economies were in chaos. obama had not yet unleashed his full social engineering experiment agenda, so some points in the article may have been easily overlooked, or not understood in full.
.. As head of the church's department of foreign church relations, Kirill gained the reputation of a relatively enlightened church leader. He met with Pope Benedict, and he has been attacked by church conservatives for "ecumenism."

More important than his contacts with Catholics, however, has been Kirill's support for a new Russian ideology based on the denial of human rights. At the 10th meeting of the World Russian People's Council--an international public organization headed by the patriarch, in Moscow, on April 4, 2006--Kirill accused human rights leaders in the West of "dictatorially" forcing societies to accept the right to engage in gambling, euthanasia and homosexuality.

The Council said that there are values "that stand no lower than human rights." These are "faith, morality, sacred places and homeland." When these values contradict the realization of human rights, "the society and government and law should harmoniously combine them." How this could be done was not made clear but, according to the Council, it is impossible to tolerate a situation in which human rights "threatened the existence of the motherland."

Alexander Solzhenitsyn lent his support to Kirill's remarks.
In an interview on May 4, 2006, he said that "unlimited rights are exactly what our cave dwelling ancestor had.
Nothing could stop him from snatching meat from his neighbor and finishing him off with a big stick."
He said that what was needed were not human rights but "human obligations."

Solzhenitsyn, of course, was in error. "Rights" exist in relation to a government, so cavemen did not have human rights, let alone "unlimited" human rights. At the same time, the place of rights cannot be taken by obligations. Rights exist as a counterpoise to the obligations imposed by society. To eliminate rights in favor of obligations is to destroy higher moral authority, leaving the individual defenseless before the power of the state.

On the day after his accession to the Patriarchy, Kirill elaborated on his ideas for "harmoniously" combining the demands of the state and human rights. He said that he wanted to base church-state relations on the Byzantine concept of "symphonia," in which a distinction is drawn between the imperial authority and the priesthood, with the former concerned with human affairs and the latter with matters divine. The two are regarded as closely interdependent, and neither is subordinated to the other.

Church scholars have pointed out that there is no example of symphonia successfully defining church-state relations in our times, and the recent history of the Russian Orthodox church indicates that, faced with the power of the Kremlin, it has no interest in becoming a moral force. ..

“Symphonia” is a new word for me, i’ll have to learn more about it.

In 2009, sodomy was not yet auto-equated as The Primary human right, after all, obama later admitted to being deceitful about his true beliefs+plans in order to be elected. (Black voters were not on board.)

WW3/nuclear war is too much about Western idolatry of sodomy, but the optics are so bad, it can’t be (marketed) in those terms.
Those who worship self as god have no inhibitions. They embrace pride/Pride. With unrelenting undeniable proof.

Zelensky prancing about in his snug-fitting t-shirts, noisily shaming world leaders for any hesitation to fully escalate war, makes perfect sense to those who worship self as god. Pride’s current poster boy.

i continue to pray for resolution, the sooner the better.

Why are you obsessed with sodomy? This war isn't about that, yet you interject it into this discussion quite often.... why?
