Neither did the moderators.

without reviewing, i understood the posts moved were yours+Max’s, not one or the other.
when i wrote “your” it was intended to be plural.

i’m not convinced mods would weigh in with their opinions. i find them quite restrained.
they are not in the business of micromanaging. and have stated so.

there are several members who regularly advise admin+mods on how to run the forum. you are not alone!

i am “over+out.” i should have stayed out, to begin. :)

I think I've called you "Boot" in the past for short. The mind wonders, however: how would you feel about "Bootsy" as in funk pioneer Bootsy Collins of Funkadelic?

Incidentally, "BS" is also subclass for the Bible in the Library of Congress classification system. That amused me during seminary. However, I doubt Max is referring to that.

No, I don't think that's true.

i once addressed him with “bootie,” deemed unacceptable by mods.

however, there is a subjective aspect to admin+mods, which i accept without protest. i don’t expect democracy or perfection.
so. YMMV.

Who?

The only people I know named Boots or Bootsy are women. I'm OK with Boot, as long as it's friendly.

That feels almost like "bootie-poo" to me ;->

And yeah, that's a bit much. I prefer Bootstrap or Boot, please.

Who?
1970's bassist who first rose to prominence with James Brown and later with Parliament-Funkadelic. I realize that my esoteric knowledge of pop culture is not always a great fit for a conservative Mennonite web forum. I was amusing myself, which is not always amusing to other people.

I've always intended to be friendly with my "Boot."

i never heard of bootie-poo. not on my radar.
BS is not always a reference to manure, so, i don’t jump when i see it. here or elsewhere.

The "airing of grievances" takes place immediately after the Festivus dinner has been served. In the television episode, Frank Costanza began it with the phrase, "I got a lotta problems with you people, and now you're going to hear about it!" It consists of each person lashing out at others and the world about how they have been disappointed in the past year.
