Today ..
just saw our neighborhood bald eagle fly by. first time in weeks.
i think he landed on his usual spot, electric pole. i’m not sure, hard to see, with leaves out now.
i hope so. i enjoy having him around.

Re: Today ...
Today ..
Adjusting to the big weather front that blew through several midwest states, Kentucky north to Wisconsin+Michigan.
i was ok here, we had tornado watches and, much less common, dust storm warnings.
Somehow, i didn’t see the dust storm here, but my neighbors texted from about an hour west, they were in it, AND it hit Chicago.
All that top soil! i’ve seen big dust storms occasionally, not often, not huge like Arizona. Poor to zero highway visibility.
i think they come up sometimes before the field crops are up.
Our electricity stayed on, but internet was out for about 24 hours. i could call, text, no images or weather checks.
So i didn’t know how bad it was until it was over.
“At least 28 dead as tornadoes, storms batter states from the Heartland to the East Coast”
The NWS said it's believed the tornado that hit St. Louis was at least an EF-3.

^^This is saying “first ever” for Chicago. i doubt it. “The Windy City”
i’m not going to research.
Still. It makes a mess.

i’m perfectly comfortable with an older, wiser, more docile Trump.
