Part of the agenda of the pro-abortion movement is to dehumanise unborn babies. Hence why they call it a "fetus" or a "blob of tissue" and refuse to call it a "baby".
I refuse to part of the pro-abortion agenda. Fetal stem cells are parts from an aborted baby. It is especially concerning when so-called Christians refuse to see or acknowledge this.

I don’t know. That being said, vaccines or cell lines are not generally created from babies with health issues outside of specific testing for specific diseases.Southerner wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 9:50 amWould you have a problem w a vaccine developed from her baby?Soloist wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 9:48 amI have no judgment on that.Southerner wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 9:42 am

The one time we had to do a DnC we had a repeat ultrasound before hand…
I am much more comfortable with cord, blood or even samples taken from a baby post birth… I don’t know that I have a religious objection or not. I haven’t considered that sort of scenario very much as it’s not plausible for the practices.
I would have no problem with science being performed to further study and possibly resolve the health issue.
We had intended to donate the remains of our child for study, but the hospital screwed up handling the baby remains.

If the child were mine I would consider medical donation if I were confident it was in good hands. Making money for big pharma is not very motivating but if I had confidence the donation could assist in conquering a terrible disease or two I might.Southerner wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 9:50 amWould you have a problem w a vaccine developed from her baby?Soloist wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 9:48 amI have no judgment on that.Southerner wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 9:42 am

No live baby has ever been born from a tubal pregnancy. There rests a choice there. A dead baby, or a dead baby and a dead mother. My wife almost died from one of those, US of the era missed it, was the baby dead when the surgery to stop the bleeding was done? I don’t know, and would suggest it was irrelevant. She bled 2 units into her abdominal cavity, barnhart wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 10:07 amI have a relative who survived two tubal pregnancies which were deadly if not terminated. Just as a reminder, the stem cells were all taken from elective abortions.
I think elective abortions are evil. Does anyone here disagree?

Believe it or not, I would prefer that as well. It would have been better if some other cell line was used other than the ones we have. But here we are, having to make choices with severe consequences.Soloist wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 10:10 amI don’t know. Ironically, it was fear of a tubal that got us to stop using IUDs. We were very concerned it was and an ER doctor told us it increased the risk using IUD’s after the fact.Judas Maccabeus wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 10:18 amNo live baby has ever been born from a tubal pregnancy. Yeah, we just come out on different points on how we handle what we have now.Judas Maccabeus wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 10:23 am

I believe this is the study contracted by Nestle to Senomyx that originated the claim. I may be wrong, but that was my understanding. As others have said, quite a few entities paid Senomyx for their research.Judas Maccabeus wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2026 9:56 amThat paper is pretty far into the weeds. I believe Nestle contracted with them to do the taste research. No indication anywhere that I can find that the sweetener included any HEK-293.
It would appear this is where the rumor started perhaps?
