Like it or not, Hamas is still in charge of Gaza internally and is the prevailing government there.

They did agree in the ceasefire to turning over to a new government which will be formed by other countries.

There are rumors of civil war inside Gaza now, as Hamas battles other groups who presumably want to control Gaza going forward. I don't think Hamas is just planning to go away. Hard to imagine how things settle down in Gaza without an outside peacekeeping force of some kind.

It's all Israel's fault.

Indeed, we have heard a great deal of campus protests, celebrities speaking out, etc. about the plight of Gazans and how Israel needed to stop oppressing them. I agreed with this even if I didn't always agree with their methods of protesting.

Now I would like to see them bring the same energy to liberating Gaza from Hamas as well and see the same enthusiasm and dedicated determination to protesting all of Hamas' supporters, of which there are quite a few.

I think anyone writing for President Trump would write a fraction of what he actually says in his speeches. And he can be quite funny! But what amazes me is how sharp he is when he does his press conferences he’s hit with so many challenging questions and he doesn’t miss a beat.
