The most "peaceful" option here is clearly for Ukraine to surrender, as Naftali Bennett advised. Do you agree with him?

If i understand, Ukraine does not have to surrender, per se. Putin is proposing an agreement (reported as “demands” but i’m not sure of the translation). i’m praying-intensely the talks will bring resolution.

The stickiest wicket is probably how Ukraine can (do anything) while saving face for the ultra-warring west, which is 100% geared-up to annihilate Putin/Russia. Old saying, “She’s all dressed-up, with nowhere to go.” (maybe it takes a young girl’s heart to understand?)

How to get the west to back down is no small matter. They are all dressed up and definitely plan to go.

It’s a big problem. Not too big for God.
I agree. Putin is not asking for a traditional "surrender". Their demands have been quite clear, and have not really changed since the beginning.

Do you think Bootstrap is going to acknowledge Bennett's advice?

He claims to care much for Ukrainian suffering, but has completely ignored the obvious course of action that would stop the violence.

Thank you.
The talks are private, i believe this is necessary, media HATES it. So they go about stirring whatever pots they can, while they can.
In my view, these talks are more valuable than the TOTAL of outside opinions. Peace is NOT a goal of media. Never.

From what i’ve read, Russia’s proposals deserve sober consideration. And, had Putin been acknowledged over years PRIOR, there may not have been an invasion. If the west had not immediately “jumped” to push Ukraine, Ukraine MIGHT HAVE averted bloodshed on Day 1 by talking with Putin. The west made sure this did not happen.

The west has a problem, because, regarding these talks, Putin could appear lucid.
This cannot be allowed! Most of all, in the U.S., biden MUST come out of this the clear winner, wise leader.

i’m waiting to see how they pull this off. they will. on paper. because reality is NOT close to being a requirement for relativism.

i’m not allowed to speak of boot. occasionally, i’m allowed to post a word to him. i’m never sure when. i accept mod’s decisions.
i live dangerously.

Is Bennett as neutral as he portrays himself? He may be treading cautiously to mollify Putin and maintain the fragile balance of power in Syria. That's of more immediate import to Israel than what happens in Ukraine.

I suspect he may be considering his own interests above those of Ukraine. He's not wrong that surrender would produce "peace," but the question is whether it would be a long-term solution or merely seed the next conflict.

Russian oligarchs have massively invested in Israel, especially the Israeli tech sector. More than perhaps any other country. Here is an article on the subject: https://www.timesofisrael.com/toxic-rus ... in-israel/

So perhaps it isn't surprising that Israel is dragging its feet compared to the rest of the world and may not be a neutral actor here. The Israeli economy is more dependent on Russian money than most others.

A lot of other countries have suggested that the most peaceful and equitable answer to violence in the middle east is for Israel to surrender its illegal settlements and occupation of the West Bank. Is Israel taking that advice?

Meanwhile, the western countries have no similiar conflict of interest in their leadership right? Certainly not someone with a last name of Biden, who has a certain crack-adoring son named Hunter, who I believe vacationed in the Ukraine or something like that?? :D :D :D
