Hey, how come Boot doesn't get a challenge? "Discuss any political topic without bringing up Trump." "And no thread starters, targeting other posters".

[temporal1]

i appreciate the spirit of the challenge.
it will be a challenge for me, not sure how i’ll manage.

so often, members get downright testy with posts that have no sources. i’ll try to be thoughtful.

apply for “MOST BORNG” award?
it may be hard to imagine, but formerly, when the forum population was younger, there were such competitions. lots of them.
esp on Saturdays.

People seem to request "Amazing Grave" the most.

Is that a favorite at funerals, perhaps?

Q. What's the difference between a banjo and a trampoline?
A. You take your shoes off before you jump on a trampoline. (Sorry, OJ, it's funnier with a banjo.)

My answer (for the bagpipe version) was, eventually you get tired of jumping on a trampoline.

Wife: But, the irony of that second challenge would mean that the challenger would automatically lose.

Speaking of which, has anyone ever played “the game?” If so, they just lost it.

Ironically, I think I have been doing that in quite a few political threads. Including the one that spawned this challenge, the Alex Jones thread. And the Hunter Biden thread. I expect to continue doing so in the coming weeks. And after that. In the threads that are about Trump or about Trump vs. Biden, I do think I'll mention Trump, because that's on-topic. I waited for Trump's conviction to weigh in on the things that turned up in testimony there. So I don't think your characterization of me is accurate.

No thread starters? How else do I respond to people who try to distract from the subject of a thread by turning on me personally? If I respond in the thread, we completely lose track of the actual topic of the thread.

And how about the Josh challenge. Discuss any political topic without bringing up any larger “conspiracies” of any sort.

Yes...we all know he will be discussed...and discussed some more.

I said "thread starters" that target other posters. When I mentioned the evilness and demonic concerning a politician, a thread was started targeting me. Unless you are the person I was referring to, (which I am sure you aren't) that wasn't turning on you personally.

Just saying.
