The first report below admits the biologists were female.

Shasta-Trinity National Forest / Gumboot Lake
Remote Northern California

July 16 / “Father, Son Kidnapped Federal Female Workers at Gunpoint in 15-Hour Standoff: Prosecutors”
https://www.military.com/father-son-kid ... rosecutors
.. Joseph Charles Henrichsen, 49, and his son, Phoenix Henrichsen, 23, of Siskiyou County, Calif., were charged July 20 with kidnapping federal employees, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of California. Both were detained in Sacramento, where they did not enter pleas. The two federal employees are females.

The employees were conducting a frog-habitat survey near Gumboot Lake Campground in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest on July 16, when Joseph Henrichsen allegedly approached them carrying an AR-15-style rifle, according to the criminal complaint. He zip-tied their wrists behind their backs and led them to a nearby trailer. ..

.. The FBI led the investigation with help from the Forest Service, Homeland Security Investigations, the Bureau of Land Management, the Siskiyou and Shasta county sheriff's offices, the Mt. Shasta Police Department, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and the California Highway Patrol. Investigators have not established a motive, and LaRue said the men were not known to law enforcement before the standoff.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles Campbell is prosecuting the case. If convicted, Joseph and Phoenix Henrichsen each face a maximum of life in prison and a $250,000 fine. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 3.

Maybe a dozen msm reports chose completely ambiguous language: (which has become an open clue they’re hiding reality)

Temp, I really appreciate your personal sharing here, your love for your granddaughter and your pride in her, the fears you have as a grandmother, and some of your own experiences.

I feel like I know you better as a result of this thread.

1. Are we discussing the topic? Good.
2. Are we going around and around in a fight? Let's stop doing that.
3. Is there some serious wrongdoing or relational injury? Let's address that, probably not in public and certainly not for show.

Apparently the Forest Service needs Forest Rangers to chaperone them or something.

What a time this has been.
i’ve been a nervous wreck since my grdaughter graduated HS.
So much has happened with them in these weeks since June 8, her graduation ceremony.

i was there for the milestone. :D one never knows.

Today was her final day with the Seattle internship, she survived the light rail. :D
i didn’t hear of any mishaps. (i’m not sure they would have told me.) i didn’t sense anything going on behind the scenes.

Squeezed in these weeks has been a family move (major downsize) and some painful changes.
They’re managing. They moved about 20 miles.

On the same day her internship finished, today, they had to leave to drive her to Montana, for college!
My daughter overbooks as her routine. i hope my grdaughter doesn’t inherit that habit. :?
(They do not have the samer personality, there’s reason for hope.)

Tomorrow is dorm move in. My daughter flies home Monday.

i talked with my grdaughter a little bit ago. They’re stopping soon for the night.
i think all the driving will be in daylight.

i think i can feel myself relaxing a bit. i hope so.

My grdaghter said KPFF told the HS interns they hope to see them back next summer as college interns!
i was so hoping for something like that.

i believe, even with all the moving madness going on, that internship made this one of her happiest summers ever.
i’m so glad. she’s had some rough times. life can be hard for children and teens. i hope she has lots+lots of happiness ahead now.

Her dorm room is on the 3rd floor. No elevator.
That’ll keep her fit.
