This wholesale loss of MennoDiscuss, reminds me of life being a vapor. We do what we can while we are here, but we are temporal. We will not personally be around forever to influence people, and answer questions. The time comes to pass the torch to the next generation.

Re: What Do You Regret Is Gone From MD?
MN already has 37 registered members, more may be awaiting approval?
MN opened on October 19?
now it's known, 37 wrote something as part of the registration process .. but, how many have posted on open forum? 6-10, or so? (i haven't attempted to count.)
so, "people" are present! not

[now i understand why members' profiles will state "1 post," but, no posts show!
the first post is part of the required registration process, not a visible or searchable post.]

I'll post this here and link to it from another thread, since I found a copy that I had saved. If MN expands beyond the forum, it would be nice to have a Resource page for things like this.
Amish and Mennonite groups and their resistance to or acceptance of acculturation, as posted on MD by Ernie:

Shouldn't this have been posted in the "Where did they go?" thread?ohio jones wrote:I'll post this here and link to it from another thread, since I found a copy that I had saved. If MN expands beyond the forum, it would be nice to have a Resource page for things like this.

I could have done that instead of just putting a link in that thread, but this is more of a "Where are they going?" diagram.gcdonner wrote:Shouldn't this have been posted in the "Where did they go?" thread?

I miss it, too. I think it would be great if you started it up again on MN!
