i’ve mourned the loss of support for marriage and family, the sanctity of life, esp in high schools and colleges, for years!
Much has been lost in families AND churches, too.

Maybe not noticed by readers on this forum. In the world, i find it extreme loss.

Charlie really encouraged marriage and family- having lots of children. One of the ways he wanted to be an influence on the young generation he focused on.

The “Globalists” want to reduce the population, we have seen their speeches stating so! It’s pretty pathetic.
As Satan & his realm realize their time is shorter every day, seems their turning up the evil. Satan Hayes marriage for obvious reasons. So what do we see? Drastic increase in reduction of children, increase in transgender & homosexuality- all of which reduces growth in population. It is the Antichrist spirit at work.

Charlie wanted to serve God in this manner with what Christ who will come for His Bride, the Church- which makes Satan so angry- teaches regarding marriage and children.
I agree unless your out in the midst of a Babylon atmosphere that most Anabaptist are generally not in, the need for someone like Charlie and his mission wouldn’t seem so needful- but it was. Our pastor mentioned this morning the global scale Charlie’s death affected. Honestly I’ve not seen anything like that- affecting so many lives.
Pastor also mentioned concern over “Jesus plus patriotism” implying a distorted Gospel. So he asked the question: Can you tell the difference between the True Gospel, and a “distortion “. Hmmmm

I sense that this has triggered a couple of things in our country. On the one hand, Christians are coming out all over realizing the need to be bolder and share their faith more like Charlie,
because so many were affected and sought out a journey of faith that they said they otherwise would not have.
SO many are not brought up in any type of Christian home at all, no exposure to the Gospel.
I work with so many that it’s not even on their personal radar so to speak. So who is trying “save” this generation?

Yet I also see the kingdom of darkness getting even more dark, vile, aggressive- I see the two sides gap widening in a very uncomfortable way, line things are coming to a head- line I’ve not seen before in my lifetime, worse than the 60s.
Maybe it’s just me.

Wrt the 60’s, i believe more chaos was happening, however, today’s tech AMPLIFIES so much, it skews senses. Not to mention, children, teens, young people have both little escape, combined with lack of experience+judgment to cope with it.

If ever I saw Jesus and the Holy Spirit at work in a person it was observing Erika- as pointed out she was obviously suffering on the inside, broken hearted at her and her children’s personal loss, the family, the thousands and now millions whose lives have been touched but it was an amazing moment of “not my will but think be done” the world can’t understand, the carnal mind cannot- but maybe, God willing, as Trump said, “Maybe Erika can help me with that”-
