There has already been lots of suspicion surrounding Plain people with the CAM issues... Now that it has been told on here that the killer has ties or a Plain upbringing and now you don't want any of his information posted - while I respect and agree with you - I hope you realize your post causes a lot more suspicions and more untrust towards Plain people...……….RZehr wrote:At some point I think it would be good to have this thread locked. Particularly if begins to morphs into a M. Gooch thread.
I’d prefer, and think it more appropriate, that he, and the expected proceedings, have a separate thread.
Moving forward, I ask everyone that Mr. Gooch not be discussed on this thread, and I ask the Moderators to remove such posts.

Re: Sasha Krause: Missing
Whatever. There is so much suspicious people on this forum that I don’t really take it all very seriously. I can only do so much. I was the one on the previous page that pointed out his Mennonite connection. That’s not it at all, never crossed my mind.
I have no problem with, and fully expect there to be discussion about him on this forum. I’m not trying to stop that. I think it is more respectful to not have it in this particular thread. As I said in the previous post. I’m not sure how much clearer I could have said it.

The way you posted is a typical Mennonite response that I have continually seen. I am not trying to talk about or pry into the Sasha Krashe subject - I am just trying to point out that this is a huge blind spot that Mennonites general have.RZehr wrote:Whatever. I am not saying this to be negative - I am trying to be helpful because what keeps happening is outsiders and seekers get pushed away from these types of interactions in real life all the time.
I think this keep quiet talk is so ingrained in the Mennonite culture I don't even expect for many or any of you to understand but if I do point it out - it might start to be something that Mennonites start to get?
It comes down to trust, people will respect your privacy without suspicion when things are said in a trustworthy manner - again I believe this is a blind spot that Mennonites are NOT doing intentionally or with the wrong heart.

With respect, I think you are missing his point. At least I took his request as reflecting on a respect for Sasha's memory, her family, and friends. He suggested a different thread, not that discussion of the accused be blocked on this site.Wade wrote:The way you posted is a typical Mennonite response that I have continually seen.
