Dear Soloist’s Wife,
thank you kindly, i’ve had my preop appointment and i’m trying to answer all questions and do all preparation for surgery Monday.
much more red tape than i’ve ever had, my surgeon agrees, saying it’s become far more complicated in recent years!
(whew. not my imagination.) all doctors are supportive and optimistic. me, too.
the hardest part is the personal part, as others on forum are also battling difficult problems.
it’s too bad we can’t all just share things, but, of course that’s ill-advised on a public forum. even one with lots of mutual respect and trust.
i have appropriate others IRL to consult with.
no one has “instant fixes,” my constant prayers are for wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit, who, i believe was watching over before i ever knew it. there’s no other explanation. i learned to believe He is ever-present, “bidden or not bidden”.
we are to have faith, esp when it seems useless-impossible. that’s Jesus’ wish, as He spoke to Thomas/Didymus.
my middle name could be Thomas!
